There are a few things that still need to be worked out, however, those interested can log onto darkwater.mechanipus.com 8000. I'll be around in the afternoon and evenings this week (and much more next week) Pacific time. I'd like to maybe talk to folks this weekend to see what we can come up with for things. A few things to think about:
Regular MU* style, or more tabletop style (weekly or biweekly sessions).
Themethings: In vs Out of Night Vale, and if In Night Vale -- original citizens or outsiders like Carlos? (No, no PCs that are of The Sheriff's Secret Police, sorry!)
To the best of my knowledge she is no longer active in the hobby and has not been for many years (at least since ... around the turn of the century?). She is still working in the pen and paper games industry and writing fiction, however!
I'm sure she would be pleased to hear that her older work is still entertaining people; she's a lovely person. In the event that I run into her in the near- to mid-term future I'll be sure to pass your message along.
I think that after that KH/FF game closed, and the M3-crowd FF game imploded closed, there's not much left. I think that FFXII MUCK is still up with the same six or seven people, but that's about it.
I think the 5 of us were IC less than a month before we sparked a game-wide people-vs-corps revolt, using the Church as a base for the People. It ballooned far too quickly, partially because Staff oversaw some extended rolls that ended up having very wide impact that no one was expecting (to get away with). Thankfully, everything was defensive in nature at first, but the success pools were atrocious. Between the 5 starting Mages, we had every Sphere at 4.
It scared and disgusted us, let alone Staff, and before we all got branded as twinks, we just all OOCly started retiring the characters. I think most of us regenned Mortals.
Wanted to toss a quick thank you to everyone who sent suggestions to me on this. I was able to get the maps made that I needed between google earth and some map images that I was able to edit to fit what I was needing. I appreciate the input!
We have a 'Cards Against Humanity Whackiness' Skype group set up. If you want to be in on the list, so you can poke people and see when they want to play, or be added when we play please poke me on Skype.
I'm 'sanguineblues' on Skype.
But I am not a fan of thinking up answers for breaking points and aspirations and stuff. I don't know the answer until I play!
That's why there are generic options for Breaking Points that would fit just about anyone. And Aspirations can be so generic that this excuse has little merit. Both of those things are as integral to the character during chargen as the player needs and wants them to be.
