There are time where if i find a good show, I will binge it without my wife, and then watch it again with her. The reason being is that, while I love my wife, i want to enjoy the show and get hella enganged in it without having to pause while she asks me questions like 'Who is that' and 'Where are they' to which I inevitably have to answer 'My Love, we both just started watching this, i have the exact same amount of information, just watch the show!' But you know, with more specialized language because of our many many years together. So now whenever there's a show I really wanna see, I totally skip ahead, I'm just prepared to watch it again for our hanging out together time.
I'd been using TurboTax for a while, but last year they were just... a pain in my ass and I decided I was done with them this year. HRBlock was easy. I was done in about half an hour, no problem. Their site let me upload PDFs of my tax documents (thank you to my school and employer for having those!), it was much more clearly defined. I was just much happier with it overall.
You could also consult with your local chapter of the NCJW to see if they might have any resources. They'd probably be especially keen if you had an interest in the Women of the Wall or feminism in Israel or the work of the Hand in Hand school.
Having said all that, if you asked me who the GOAT is, I want to strongly consider Kareem as well.
I am not sure who I would put as my #1 but Kareem is in my top five. Along with Magic, Jordan, James and the great but mostly forgotten, Oscar Robinson. I can see an argument for putting any one of those five on top, I just lump them together as the top 5.
@scar@aria 'Inherited money' was a good guess then. :/
I mean, unless my father marries some 18 year old and everything goes to her if my mom passes first, or my mother donates everything to the church if my dad passes first (neither is outside the realm of possibility), this is the only way I'm going to end up a property owner. (And even then, I will more than likely become a 'mortgage owner', inheriting the one on their house. The one I'm in they leave in the clear since it's the less important property.) So I'm not slinging alllllllllll the shade here; I know what it is to be a flake with few income prospects and too many health concerns for the average job.
I'm just, uh, not such a dumb flake as to do that. Even selling both places here, I'm smart enough to know I could afford a crappy condo at best in that area, and the current home and property values (if the mortgages were in the clear... ) are not huge, but... -.- ...I'd stick with the devils I know, damn.
I watched it in a sports bar, and since I oddly live in an area with a lot of ex-Minnesotans and a lot people who migrated up because of Katrina and stayed around the place was pretty full and roughly evenly split so the atmosphere for amazing given the mood swings of it.
I am going to go visit my RP bestie of almost four years next month and help turn his awful breakup/months of couch-surfing into a "bring all your friends over into your furniture-less new place and we'll have a big camp out/slumber party in your empty living room" housewarming bash. Followed by a full-on Macklemore visit to the local thrift shop to help him get new stuff.
Man, I like the Killers' new stuff, but I love "Run for Cover" so much more!
Also, the origins of my username -- nothing to do with me except that I live in New York state; I just thought the name was catchy when I was 19 or so (before the burlesque club with the same name opened up and made me step away from the name, sigh).
@taika Sadly, the hematite can't be done that way at home. I think they torch anodize it. It used to be INSANELY expensive here that way, then it started making it to the craft stores, but it's actually all over eBay more or less dirt cheap now if you don't mind long ship times from China. (There's one guy in NY I think... I would have to look.)
I have a massive weakness for matte iridescent stuff. Shiny's ok, but the matte is like, triple the love at least, somehow.
