How about a game where everyone is treated with respect? That would be a nice change.

Once we find the real world model of this we can duplicate it into a game...
-
That sounds like a boring fucking game.
ETA: Assuming OP means the theme of the game itself is just everyone marching around being respectful and well mannered.

@deathbird You know what happens when you make an assumption. You make an ass out of u and 'mption.

I can tell you'd be awesome at your game
-
@deathbird It's my favorite quote from Samuel L. Jackson.

@deathbird It still amazes me not everyone has seen Long Kiss goodnight. It's some of Geena Davis' best work.
ETA: And today on my FB, came up this memory: "QotD: When you make an assumption, you make an ass out of you, and 'umption. Now where is my Royale with Cheese?

The NSWF tag is redundant when paired with Samuel L. Jackson.

Would people be more interested in a MU* revolving around a dark fantasy mercenary company or a scifi Mecha-operating mercenary company?
If you absolutely had to choose one or the other?
-
@Wizz Admittedly, those were a part of my wish list back in the day. I think those would be great options.
-
I've been poking around at different systems for either that seem really fun, and they both really get the itch for a game going for me, so I'm curious!

Mecha merc, but hopefully something less crunchy, so I don't have to learn a complex system and then have someone laugh at me the day after approval cause I'm going to fail in combat or I didn't min max and max and am irrelevant as a merc for hire.
-
I've always been intrigued by a Black Company styled game (which would be that Dark Fantasy Merc company set up). I think it'd be a great setting to have players localized 'together' and fighting against a common enemy but still provides windows for competition and struggle.
Not to mention political dealings, military actions, magic, all those fantasy things.

@Paradox omg yes please
