      I can't get the page with the listing of threads to come up on Firefox 34.0.5 on Yosemite. I can read the individual threads, but the main page is blank. It does work on Safari.

        @BetterJudgment,

        Sometimes I get blank posts on Safari until I re-load the page. Sometimes I need to wait a few seconds.

          You're right, refreshing fixes it in Firefox as well. It's still strange that that page--and now this thread--consistently require a refresh, though.

              I have a mac with Yosemite and running this site on Safari, Firefox and Chrome I don't seem to have any issues. Not sure what could be different.

                The adverts board (and even looking at some adverts messages, like this one), is quite broken on Chrome for me.

                Reloading seeeeeems to fix it, sometimes, but it is a recurring problem.

                  Okay, here's an experiment. I turned the normal hyphen (-) in the title to an en-dash (–) to see what happens.

                  edit 1: nope. trying periods (.) instead of dashes (-).

                  edit 2: nope, hmm.

                  edit 3: changing 'advert-is-ments' to 'adver-tis-ments' seems to fix this.

                    It looks like a URL segment (post title or category) starting with "advert" is possibly triggering some kind of anti-advertising system that is blanking out the contents. No idea which ones.

                    For example, a title of 'Advert*' is giving me the blank screen, but 'Adver-*' is not. @Glitch is not getting these pages blocked because he has no ad-blocker running in his web browser.

                    Solution? Don't Do That.

                    edit: I made the topic 'Advert-is-ments' again so people can test this out and report their findings here.

                      I think you got it. "Aver-tis-ments" worked fine, and "Advert-is-ments" brought up a gray screen until I refreshed. Now that I've disabled AdBlock Plus on musoapbox.net, I can hit either page without any issues.
