CofD/WoD Mu Installer?

Docker basically runs a mini-vm on your machine which sets up a service for you so
that you don't have individually manage the service and setup yourself. In this case, it installs a working pennmush game with my Mu2 for you and Mysql already connected (MariaDB is the mysql server), already setup so that all you have to do is put in what port you want to use and run it.So, if I were to ask you to, you could set up a WoD game in a matter of minutes?
-
@Ganymede Hey, BITN is being set up in a matter of minutes. Just thousands of them.
-
All of this idly makes me wonder if I could do a kickstarter to try and fund my game. Would be nice to get paid to code and write stuff I enjoy writing rather than having to do it a few hours a day when I am not at work/job hunting.

What about all of @Volund 's code? I swear he had something for Penn that was everything you'd need to stand up a game. I think he did the same for that other / newer code base as well right?
edit: like this right here https://github.com/volundmush/mushcode/tree/master/storyteller/nwod2

@ThatOneDude I could probably get that set up in a docker. Tinymux is being a dick right now so that's not working so well. Let me do that.
Edit: I'll get back to you on volund's code. Working with Volund on some bugs.

@ThatOneDude
Volund's works nicely, with a few bugs. I haven't bothered to try fixing the minor ones I've encountered, just yet. Focused on other things with a higher priority.Mostly the grid/build addon has a few glitches. You will need to compile with SQL. MYSQL to be exact, I believe.
Some documentation on more useful functions might be helpful too, ie. the ones tied into the +config +gameconfig systems.

The more people use the issues tab on github, the more I can fix things.
Just recently got Exalted 3e cleaned up. Haven't had any reason to touch Chronicles of Darkness/nWoD 2e yet due to the main game that uses it seemingly being happy with it how it is.
Also still in the midst of making it Rhost compatible.
+district code has a few minor issues... I need to really re-think of how to handle delegated building. It is the one thing that the system is not terribly good at.
Also yes, MySQL.

You just need to make a Fate addition so almost any game can be stood up

@ThatOneDude
Fate, huh? Not sure what that entails yet although I have heard of that system. If it's free to download somewhere then I can totally look into it. -
@Volund Apparently it is free.
-
I ran a sci-fi game using FATE. It was fun. Good system.
