It seems like MUDs have really fallen out of favor since I last played something about a decade ago. I'm looking for something that's focused mostly on RP, and with a really active playerbase.
When I say active playerbase, I mean.. I would like to be able to log in at 2AM pacific and see like 10+ active participants in one or more scenes. Is there anything of the sorts? What's the closest I can get to that?
I'm not too interested in the more RPG aspects of a MUD, though I'm not afraid of them either. I'm just looking for a good RP experience - Everything else is secondary to me. It could be about wizards, ninjas, aliens.. The setting doesn't matter, as long as there's a lot of people.
