Why does MSB not have a MUSH/MUX to hang out on?
The forums are great, but for conversations and such, a game would be nice to hang out on, too.

I'd offer one, but I would require an email address.
I personally am fine with that. I suspect you are making a stab at the whole "how to verify who is who" conversation?
It seems like things would get meta really quickly. For instance, wouldn't we have to set up a new site to complain about the MSB Mu?
Naw, just another channel.
I'd be afraid it would result in a drop in message traffic on the forum.

This would be my only real concern, yeah. Once you have a place to congregate in nigh real time, the forums start to suffer.
If I were to set this idea up, I would just lock @name and police aliases, and ask people for temp passwords for their character, then they would log in and reset the password. I would keep the initial passwords, and have a script log in and change the password in a week if not changed.
Except Arkandel. No Arkandel. Cuz he won't PL me in HC Seasonal D3.
@Misadventure Everytime I've tried to PL someone in HC Seasonal, they invariably end up getting acid pool'd and instagibbed...
Yet you tried. Its on them to stay alive. Arkandel is all like "I don't play HC so I can't help youuuu, waaaah." And he is away, so can't defend himself.
@Misadventure Anyone who can't Hardcore mode is afraid... /afraid/. So sad.
T70 first try: "Witness Meeeeeeeeeeeee!"
@Misadventure Never made it that high because A) I don't have that much dedication to D3, and B) I always reach a point where I think I am God and then jump into waters to deep for my gear/character and end up going splat.
Meh.
@Thenomain Do it.
@HelloProject
Meh.
I'm not going to say it's going to decrease the forum, but it almost certainly will fragment discussion further. Someone says there are popular generic Mu* games out there, though besides Gateway I can't think of any, and even Gateway isn't that commonly used.
I simply have a "why?" question echoing through my head when trying to work out the utility of a Soapbox Mu*.
@Thenomain Well, I think 8bit MUSH and MUS*H count, but who knows. I don't really hang out on any.
I think a MSB MU would be useful for a community hangout that's less effort than making a forum post.

How much effort is making a forum post? I mean, really.
:nods.
