So, I've been moved to a night shift, and man... man, my current games are dead af at night. I guess I should clarify that by night, I mean night time in the US. I'm in US Central Time. Anyway! Yes. Night people, where are you and where is there actual activity these days? I'm a long time WoD/CoD player, but feeling kind of burnt out on it, so up for suggestions in all genres and themes.

Arx and Fallcoast have quite a few active players late night.

Reno has a few night folks since we have a couple Euro and at least one Aussie player.

Saying the quiet parts out loud since 1996.

I'm on FC. It's dead as far as activity goes. I'm literally on there all night every night. I went in to Reno as a guest, last night to test the waters. I was on for a few hours. Not a single person said a single word. Not even when I tried to make conversation.

Arx is a Lords and Ladies game, yeah? Not my thing. Also... I see all the drama and stuff that comes out of there and don't even want to get involved in that. I'm on a serious anti-drama kick after some stuff on FC.

Eh, it's only really a L&L game if you want to play into the noble politics aspect of it. Which plenty of people don't. That's not really the focus of the game.

@shelbeast well you want a game with a big enough population that you'll have people to play with overnight...but you also don't want any drama. So I think you'll probably have to take up Sudoku

I'm pretty much just on Arx and FC these days, late nights too because I'm a chronic sufferer of being a night owl.

FC is hard to find RP, but sometimes I manage it. I'm also new here, so I don't really know the grid or people besides those I came in with.

Arx I can typically find some people about until well past when I should be asleep (6a EST >.> ).

As someone who also works nights and stays up on my nights off to keep the same sleep patterns...yeah, good luck on that one. It's already a challenge at times just to find RP on the few places I'm at during the daytime, but in the middle of the night I might as well not even bother.

@shelbeast I think I was there when a guest came on to see how busy it was but I was lost in the depths of Factorio and didn't see it but Reno is pretty quiet when it gets late, atm. Sometimes there's someone or another to RP with but it's pretty rare once I get home from work that I'll find RP, as an AU person. It happens occasionally, which is more than it happened on FC when I tried to play there.

If you're a fan of Pathfinder/DnD, try tenebraemush.net. It's got players and active staffers on at basically all times.

They're both kind of small games, but I work overnights EST and can usually find some RP and even some plots there: Darkwater and Descent. Darkwater is Changeling/Mortal/Mortal+, and Descent is Vampire/Werewolf/Mortal/Mortal+ set in a post apocalyptic world.

Both have some pretty amazing staff and players.
