It is a very, very good book. Wretched is kind of right, but as is usual for Pratchett he does the idea a whole lot deeper and tells about three jokes at once.

Some of my friends have stopped reading more than one book a year, to make them last. I just obsessively listen to them...

@JinShei The pratchett Audiobooks are pretty darn good! I've listen to so many of them so many times, those and the Dresden books red by James marsters. Audiobook + Writing/Drawing/Videogaming =

@JinShei For bed i have ear buds and Rain sound apps. Transport me to a rainy beach in front of a campfire with intermittent rumbles of thunder. Ahhhhhhh... ZZzzzzzzz

I had to stop listening to audiobooks to sleep because I got conditioned to where any even-toned speaking would make me drowsy. I’ve only recently been able to listen to podcasts.
Saying the quiet parts out loud since 1996.

@Auspice Yeah, I had the same issue... and then you wake up and the book is just hitting it's climax.

@Wretched @Auspice I just have trouble getting my brain to shut up - so I find listening to books I know backwards and frontwards enough to engage and distract it, but not enough to stay awake!

I've co-oped the table top group I run to do some of that but they won't get to it for. A while. The game is up, with thanks to Fara, and I was trying to change the wiki site as a starting point but brain says no this afternoon.
I'd love the help! I want to apply the system to the book characters so that I can see it playing...

Sadly, while I know FS3 very well... I actually don't feel confident enough of my knowing of book characters to stat them out. Else I'd absolutely help.
If you run into other stuff (like portal customization- Blu and I have done a fair bit and we're on the Ares Discord) please reach out.

On the one hand, this sounds like it could be really neat.
On the other hand, I'd feel a terrible pressure to try to be funny, and that can't possibly end well!
