I think this is where we ping @Seraphim73 and ask him how he copes. I mean, by my count, he's been married to about 6 different PCs played by the same person, so at some point you get a little schizophrenic trying to keep track of them all in an IC context.

A friend and I used to troll people on a comic book game we ran because we talked so much off-game that a lot of people just assumed we lived together. Like people would ask "where's Coin?" and she'd be like, "he just walked into the house, give him a second, geez". We had fun trolling people, some of the others on the game got into it too. Basically, anyone in on the joke with a sense of humor would help us troll other people.
