      Hello folks,

There was an extended unscheduled downtime today (lasting roughly 5-6 hours) as I worked with Linode's sysadmin team to resolve some issues the server faced last night.

Apologies for this. Hopefully we've seen the last of it. I'll keep you posted.

I can't believe I was off of MSB for that long and there are NO new posts. I mean, honestly.

At some point tonight or tomorrow morning (so 07-17 or 07-18) I will upgrade MSB to the newest version and update some packages on the server then restart it, which will require downtime of 10-20 minutes or so.

Well, this was a bit more adventurous than I thought but we're back up and everything is upgraded to the newest and brightest.

Please let me know if anything is on fire.

Can we get a server reset on 2020? Maybe upgrade some of the hardware and run a malware sweep? It's been on fire for a while now.

There was an issue with the redis service (our database) last night which caused downtime. I think I got the root cause, but I'll continue to monitor things.
