D&D One-Shot Idea
-
This isn't about a mu* that's in the works, but rather a D&D one-shot campaign I am creating as an attempt to get into DMing as well as learning how to stream TTRPGs and all that. If this isn't the proper place for it, feel free to move it to a more appropriate board, mods.
Anyhow, the premise is that it'll be taking place in two locations: A currently-unnamed bakery that appears to be haunted by pastries gone bad, and a currently-unnamed other dimension where the source of those naughty treats can be found. It'll be the party's job to take it out, of course, yadda yadda, etc.
The reason I am writing about it here is because I'd love to get some input and I can't ask any of my circle of friends in case some of them might want to play in it. I will drop ideas here as I get them and y'all can give input/advice, if you'd like.
Thanks in advance from me, who has never done anything like this before.

Pastries gone bad.
I love it.

I am hoping people will like it. It's going to be a lot less serious than a lot of D&D campaigns can be, so the humor might not be everyone's cuppa.

The Other Games forum might be the appropriate forum, but honestly MSB has too many separate forums to be honest.
As for your idea, it sounds like a good silly game. What questions do you have?

Well, I kind of have basic questions. Like how long is a good length of time for a one-off. I don't want it to be too short, but don't want it to go for too long. Also, how can one balance monster CR with the party's Elle last, which will be eve level 3, etc.
