Mietze recently banned another clone of our sometimes-mellow-than-WTF right-wing troll.
Later, we noticed an account with a similar "anonymous" e-mail address was registered.
Clearly, this motherfucker seems to think that we like playing games. I have no doubt we'll play this cat-and-mouse game like a sad simile of the Batman-Joker routine. And you know what? I'm fucking sick and tired of it because it is interfering with my raging alcoholism.
So, for the next little while, there's no automatic registration. We'll be approving them. And if some other shitbag wants to, oh I don't know, spam the fuck out of us with accounts, then we'll simply disable them and allow user-invite only for a while.
How long will this go on? I don't know. Hopefully long enough that people will take a fucking hint, but I'm smart and cynical enough to realize that some people are out to ruin shit for others.

I'm updating this to say that I am very sorry to everyone who was waiting patiently in queue to join us.
I should be checking the registration queue more often, and I have not.

Once again I apologize to everyone who may have been waiting for my stupid head to approve of their accounts.
That said, if you already have an account, please do not make another. Because of the wonderful people that sometimes come by to circumvent our previous bans I am being more restrictive than I have ever cared to be. If there is or has been an account request from another IP that another user has accessed this forum from, your account may not have been approved of. If this has been done in error -- I realize that some people log in from IPs which may have been used or are being used by others -- please re-register an account and have another user let me know of the error.

I have been getting a rash of people attempting to register who have not provided an e-mail address. Unsurprisingly, some of such registrations have come from our banned friend(s) who just can't seem to get enough of us.
As a result, I am requiring that all new registrants provide an e-mail address.
I have neither the time nor the inclination to deal with people I don't have to or want to and, yes, what the requirements are to get an account here are completely based on my judgment.
