I don't make this known outside of certain circles often but my oldest is autistic. So someone doing that is offensive to me.
So yes. I am fucking serious.
ETA: Why are my feelings on the subject being questioned to begin with, especially after having explained why I found it offensive in the post you quoted me in? It isn't like I'm playing SJW or anything like that. Autism is something we have had to struggle with for pretty much his entire 20 years of life and is something that strikes close to my heart.

@Gingerlily There's a small but dedicated group of individuals who downvote/upvote their select group no matter what they say. Essentially anything reasonable gets downvoted while 'shitposts' (their words) get upvoted.

I downvote Coin and Ganymede when I can remember that I'm supposed to be downvoting them.
It's usually about 1/3 of the time that I actually remember though. I don't have the wherewithal to troll effectively.

@Lithium What puzzles me is that on a forum where people get personally flamed to hell and back in no uncertain terms anyone would care about a little number going up or down. It's not even in your face, you need to look pretty hard to see the totals.

@Arkandel I agree. I get downvoted (sometimes I deserve it, sometimes I don't), I get upvoted (I don't think there's many who upvote /me/ of all people just based on who I am, I'm to confrontational for that) and the numbers don't really /mean/ anything at all.
To others it's a show of popularity, or at least agreement with a view, or disagreement there of. Sometimes that's all I mean it to be, more often than not I don't click either up or down.
