Do you think having the new companion style of game play makes for a more interesting game for FarCry? -
@Jaded I don't know! I have no friends, and nobody to play companion with. More options is more better, though.

@jaded Companions are OP. Awesome, sometimes talk too much, but OP... if you have the bear and the cougar both out, or the attack helicopter and the plane out. If you have the archer and the cougar you can easily clear places without being detected and getting a bonus.
Co-op is pretty fun too; you get to keep all the money and xp you get in a friend's game, but the story only progresses for them.
You can run people over with a combine tractor.
I have an alien ray gun.
Shotgun with shotgun slugs can take down a helicopter (incendiary rounds work too.)
Oh and there is fishing.

OH the NPC companions. I don't know. I use doggo and plane guy the most. Headshots are stupidly, stupidly easy to get so I tend to not bother with companions that use guns. They're inefficient. (Is there some kind of aim assist on PC? I swear, headshots everywhere.)

I meant both but my language was not clear.

I was told that there is a chance one of the DLCs will be all about alien invaders instead of adding zombies, like the current trend seems to be. -

THIS POST LACKS SPOILERS:
I beat Far Cry 5. The ending is controversial. The majority of people seem to hate it. I am ambivalent about it. I just wish the game itself had more player agency. I wish my decisions mattered more. I also wish the game was a little harder. It felt like it was holding my hand the whole way. The constant checkpoints you can revert to if you die is a little disappointing. Also...
DO EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO DO BEFORE YOU DO THE FINAL MISSION. It will not let you go back and do stuff. I usually like to clean up everything after the final mission. Post-game stuff. Completionism. I got 100 percent on every other Far Cry game. This one, I will be starting a new game and trying it again. Damnit.

@admiral How many hours did you have in? I've seen the story mode is like 80 hours?
Also the only true choice you have is at the start. Not so secret ending woo!

I beat it in 24 while doing a good chunk of the side missions. I could have done it in under 10 by sticking to main missions only. Perhaps... 5 if I push hard. That is just an estimate though.

The whole microtransactions for apparel turned me off of purchasing it.
Good news is a lot of games are on sale on the Xbox around 10-60 percent off! Yaaaaaas!
Getting Black Flag for sure. Haven't tried Origins yet. CoDWW2 14 dollars off.

@shincashay Clothes are cosmetic, and you can buy them eventually for cash you get in game. And if you have friends to play with you get to keep Perk Points and any money you find. A few preppers staches and you can pretty much buy any clothes you want.
@Auspice Auspice Yes! I really like how they did it. This is a co-op game, you have to play with someone, so here, have a free key to give to your friend. And it's by the people who did Brothers so pack some tissues, there be wandering onions.

So I am having another go at streaming, this time with Deep Sky Derelicts, which I have play a good few hours of before but not with the latest content. Think Space Darkest Dungeon but still in early access.
I also have tried to tweak the audio but no idea if it worked!

@packrat When I started streaming a little, I had to turn down the game volume in my stream software a goooooood deal (and keep my mic volume at 100). Your voice is still pretty hard to hear.

Yeah, game volume prob. needs to be at least a third lower than what it is currently.
