 @Autumn said in Mobile phone usage poll: @Thenomain Plus, that way you can use GNU screen! And it's easier to keep all your logs organized. Some day I need to learn how to use screen. That day will be when @Sparks releases A2. (No pressure!)

 @Thenomain — you're not wrong.

 I tend to RP from my iPad about 85% of the time. I use MudRammer and I have a bluetooth keyboard / cover. I move around a lot so if I didn't use my iPad I'd probably end up being AFK several dozen times a session, or constantly logging off and in again when I changed locations.

 I've never RPed from a mobile device. Now and then - very sporadically and when I basically have no computer handy - I've logged on to check @mail and catch up on boards, but that's it. My big issue is typing speed. On a keyboard I am very fast (I suspect most of us here are) but on a touch screen I literally type with my index finger like a grandma. The screen itself being smaller, then having a big chunk of it taken by the virtual keyboard, doesn't help especially if it scrolls.

 I chose 'sometimes' because I will sometimes check @mail from my phone or tablet. I never RP on my phone/tablet, though. Way too annoying.

 I will occasionally log on from my phone, but only to chat or check mail. I'll save the coding and RP until I can get to a real computer.

 I have tried to RP from my phone twice, both necessitated by the internet service dying, and being in the middle of something I felt obliged to finish for other people's takes. But man, its a solution of last resort.
