TS - Danger zone

@Auspice Hahahahahaoh man
-
"Do you log your TS? If so, is your spouse aware of it and welcome to read the logs?"
-
To add to @Ghost's question - do you let your partner(s) know you're logging and do they need to grant permission before you share those logs with third parties?
-
@Ghost Nope and would be if I logged it I suppose, though I don't usually TS with other folks online when I have a partner because I TS with them.

Oooooh good dangerzone question there
Can't remember anyone asking me if I agreed to logs containing adult material was logged.

I have had someone ask to log before and I was like uhh.. sure? I don't really care, but I also didn't deem them worthy so didn't follow up with a secondary scene.

"If TS is in character and it's all about the story, then why is there so much aversion to posting logs containing TS or staff snooping in on scenes involving it (but most every other scene is okay to post?)"
-
Said another way, if sex is an ordinary part of a marriage culturally why would anyone care if other people watch you and your partner engage in it?
-
Said another way why would anyone seek the consent of their partner to tell the public about the private details of their relationship?
Homer knows.

@Ganymede "Is it sex, or is it creative writing?"
I mean, in theory, if I were writing a steamy romance novel I'd probably hand sample chapters to people including my own parents, but I wouldn't fuck my SO in front of them soooooooooooo...
-
I just want someone to write deep erotica with.
Should I post an ad? With samples? 'Accepting resumes'?

I'm one of those people that I'm not gonna like, try and do it in front of you, but if you walk in I'm not going to stop or give a fuck you're there.

Uno Mas
"If it's all in character and "about the characters", why is the concept of "safe" TS partners a constant topic, but not so much "safe coffee house RP" partners?"

I feel like there's a 1-10 rating system of who you'd (generic) stop for. 10 being OMGOOPSSTOP and 1 being "fuck it" lol. Because the only thing worse than not stopping when your mom or dad walk in the room would be your mom and dad stopping to watch.
Aint no coming back from that.

So if your parents are a ten, who's the 1?
-
@Derp You.
-
I play on games that routinely post smut with tagged warnings. I have no objection to smut I wrote being shared. In my experience all of this is less weird if people just stop being weird about it.

As for this one, speaking purely for myself -- some of the best scenes I've been in, story-wise, had some sex in them. Or at least things related to sex. So honestly, I don't really care if you post them. I encourage people to do so if there is some element of character growth or story development in there.
If you're just posting logs because it's tuesday and you're bored and you wanna smash your bits together again -- I mean, I'm not gonna stop you, but I'm probably gonna be a little annoyed that you made me read that expecting there to be something relevant in it when in fact it's just you and your budd(y/ies) trying to find synonyms for 'moans' while describing some piston action or tongue movements.

I mean on the other hand posting a log and sharing it doesn't automatically mean someone else has to read it. Nobody is making you read that stuff.
