I just never found people who were willing to follow my rule of 'If you Staff, you run plot' because Ares is perfect for it and I didn't need Staffers who just wanted to be Staff.
So if someone wants to take that over, I can try to dig up what I had.
Do not tease me. I repeat. Do not tease me. After reading most of the books twice now, I am more than ready for season four and a mush.
Just give me the chance to play a character in the MCRN.
Or a Belter. Preferably not on Medina Station post book 8.

(I'll add I have two different timelines for a poss. MU as well. And part of why I didn't go forward is I'd rather be a player than run it. Ahem. I would be more than happy to help set it up, though!)

There is even a fancy Expanse RPG that we can probably just ignore, but it is a thing.

I will note I've spoken to someone who works for the publishers of said RPG (if someone wanted to code it) and THEY are OK with it being used, but they ask that the owners of the Expanse IP be asked their feelings on the matter.

My plan on that front was to provide links on the website to the Belter dictionaries out there.

An Altered Carbon game using Eclipse Phase would be apropos.

The RPG is not that great IMO (it uses the Adventure Game Engine) but it's good for background material. If I was to make such a game, I would probably use either Savage Space, or maybe TinyFrontier (TinyD6 is awesome) instead, with hand-picked bits from the official RPG to flesh out the setting.

There is. I haven't had a chance to get it / read it in full, but from what I've seen it looks great.
Given the mentioning of generic rules, what is it about this setting that actually creates stories specific to it? How is the feel of the books or show going to come across?
By way of example, the Altred Carbon setting has cortical stacks and the ultra rich immortal class, combined tocreate a specific economy and outlook of humanity etc. After that its just a sci-fi setting, with action and crime as its focus.
What makes The Exapanse?

Pretty much in the same boat as @auspice. I've heard it's great though, CG in particular is very streamlined now with lifepaths and some of the more notoriously finicky/time consuming things like adapting to new bodies have been simplified a lot.
