Would anyone be interested in doing this? We read a book each month and then have a thread dedicated to discussing it (so people can easily avoid spoilers if they wish).

I'm in another book club where the method goes:

      • Organizer picks a theme
      • People submit book ideas on that theme
      • A poll is run for a few days of the books suggested

The winning book becomes the book read for the month with a chapter goal each week (divide # of chapters by # of weeks in the month). Last week of the month includes picking book for next month.

If people are interested, I can gladly organize. Toss suggestions (incl. a link to Good Reads or Amazon or somewhere with a synopsis) for the first book. The theme is...

      nature

(Book suggestions have to be related, even tangentially, to the theme. If you can justify it, suggest it!)

I have a pretty narrow section of themes I like to read, but I would be down.

And obvs there'd be no expectation to join every month. Come and go as you please. 😄

Well, then. We can at least trial it. Anyone got any books to suggest on the theme nature or... a different theme?

                  ...does Jurassic Park count?
