What active games are there out there, particularly in the evenings (since I work morn-afternoon shifts)?

Hey guys, not-quite-MU*-related request here, but most MU*s use wikis these days so...
A friend of mine is trying to set up Mediawiki and having serious issues; it's running super slow, crashes when optimization guides are followed and refuses to allow uploading of files.
Anyone good with this that I can get him in touch with via email that's willing to give him some advice/help? (He's not a MU*er, as noted above)
