I now own an X-Box 360 controller for my PC.
I played a little Bioshock with it tonight, which is a good example of the reason I got it. In general I prefer the mouse/keyboard but there are some games (shooters, especially) where I don't feel like I'm getting the best experience. It felt much more fluid with a controller, for me at least.
I have an XB1 controller for the same reason. I like the variety. Division, I prefer keyboard/mouse. Rocket League? Controller plz.

@Three-Eyed-Crow Infinity is really touchy, no matter what you use. At least pre collection. Not sure now since they didn't remaster Infinity.
I believe @Thenomain said it was as touchy as a recently divorced housewife on facebook, or something like that. Touchy with controllers or keyboard and mouse. Fiddling with the setting might be useful.

The latest PS4 update now allows you to record up to 30 and 60 minutes, rather than the 15. It also doesn't seem to auto record now, so you have to start the recording. 15 mins was never quite enough for me,
-
So it isn't automatically grabbing the last X amount of minutes now? That kind of sucks. Sometimes you don't know when something neat is going to happen and if it isn't recording in the background you're SOL unless you've started it yourself, from the way that sounds.
-
I think it still might? I'm not sure. When I did a broadcast tonight at 720p / 60 fps it told me that gameplay recording was stopped, and it didn't say that for 720p by itself while broadcasting. So it looks like it still might, but maybe also let you chose where to start like it did before.
I mostly fiddled around with things in the menu, and then a little in Bioshock (which for some reason can be recorded, but not streamed right now.) So I would say fiddle around with things and see.

Speaking of Bioshock;
"If you already own a copy of BioShock and/or BioShock 2 on PC, you are eligible for a free upgrade to the HD version of the associated title.
If you own BioShock, BioShock 2 and/or Minerva’s Den you already own the remastered edition of the associated game. They will be added to your Steam Library automatically when they are released
Now, if you own BioShock on a retail disc for PC, you will need to fill out a support ticket to prove your ownership and -once we've validated it- we’ll get you a Steam key.
If you own BioShock 2 on a retail disc for PC we have a solution in place already for you from the Games For Windows LIVE replacement: Just activate your GFWL activation code inside Steam and you should be all set (Bonus – you even get Minerva’s Den for free!)
If you bought a Digital version that wasn’t Steam? Over the years we have offered DRM-free versions of BioShock from a few Digital Partners, and even offered some SecuRom Digital versions. You should reach out to those websites support rings and they should be able to provide you a new Steam key. "
But because of that they made hacking a bit more difficult in the collection: http://i.imgur.com/gYw547F.jpg

@Wolfs It will. If you push the share button, choose share clip and it will have recorded... a lot. I tried it tonight and it went back 22 mins, It goes back an hour.
Double tap share button to start a recording.
-
Okay, good. I haven't had the chance to test it yet this week. The 'recording in the background' thing may be one of my favorite PS4 features.
-
So, who else is excited for Resident Evil 7?
-
I was, but I suck at stealth. And then add VR...
Glad it's going back to the scary roots though. Fucking Chris punching a rock into a volcano my ass.

Finished Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Good game in my opinion, despite what the reviews say. And I'm slowly but surely losing my but/don't buy preferences based on reviews in the dust. Can't even remember the last I actually read a review I personally agreed with.
That being said, while I like the cultural social commentary in the game, there are times where it feels like it's a bit too on the nose. Still I liked it. If only because it's not often I get to play a really fun sneaky sneak game.
-
On the nose, but you have to remember that Mankind Divided and Human Revolution are prequels in the series. Maybe it's not on the nose enough!

Playstation Now now available on PC (Also wireless PS4 controlers with a dongle.)
ETA, you can use a regular controller with it plugged in to USB, without having to jump through endless hoops. But you can use any controller you want.
-
You can now get PS4 codes on Green Man Gaming. (North America only, but I'm not sure if that's always or if Europe will be later.)
-
If you own Enslaved: Odyssy to the West (on steam) you now own the HD version of the game. Surprise upgrade!
- The Premium Edition includes the critically acclaimed original game and the downloadable content "Pigsys perfect partner" and Character Skins Ninja Monkey, Monkey Classic and Sexy Robot Trip.

Friday 13th game delayed, adds single player.
I am squeeing and crying at the same time.
Also, Steam is working on getting PS4 controllers to work with it without having to go through a third party.

Not sure how I feel about this one. Is there a 'lose' scenario for the Jason player?
-
@Derp People get away, I guess? The game was originally just a generic horror game where 4 people escaped a killer, they got the licence later. They've filmed over 300 death animations with Kane Hodder doing the motion capture. (He was Jason for several of the movies.) It's all about the 80's camp-counselor slasher movies. As far as i understand it there are 5 people per game and it's random who gets to be Jason.
But I mean, Jason doesn't loose. (Freddy winking doesn't count. Neither can be killed.)
