I'm a little tapped on money at the moment but I'd be glad to help if you need assistance getting over that final hump. I'm just kinda... burned right now due to moving/buying a new computer/buying furniture/all kinds of moving expenses of my own.

@Admiral That sounds so exciting! I hope I get to that point in the foreseeable future! I dream about getting a bed bigger than a twin. XD But I can't even bring that with me, so I'm doing an air mattress for now.

@PuppyBreath Well my offer is open for a free meal and a chance to see around Austin. Also if you need a job I can probably get you hooked up with something basic pretty quick.
And if worst comes to worst and there is an emergency I can probably get you a spare room for a little while if there's no pets involved.

Also bumping it cause I'm sure more people can throw a few bucks in. The gofundme giving is super easy.
I've been in a similar situation (apart from the parents part, my parents always supported me so I got it much easier). Newly divorced, without a job, without an apartment - then BAM, I got a job in another city and in the matter of a weekend everything sorted itself cause I just doggedly kept at it. It is NOT easy to ask for help - you're brave.

@Goblin Oh, wow, I'm so happy that worked out for you! This move is terrifying, but it also makes me more hopeful about the future of my life than I've felt in awhile.
Thank you so much to everyone for your generosity! It makes me all emotional and teary-eyed, which is no easy feat these days. I should be good to go on gas, and there's enough for food, too! We'll just cross our fingers and toes that my car doesn't shit itself on the way down. I appreciate you all so much.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I made it safely to Austin! Some car trouble held me up, then my check engine light came back on on the way. I can't wait to replace that car! But I'm here!

@PuppyBreath I've got an open offer for a hot meal if you want to check out any of the local restaurants. Maybe @Auspice could come along as well. And anyone else in Austin. (Though the more people who go the cheaper the meal will have to be. :3)
