MU Things I Love
-
Scheduling A Thing that has a bunch of really fun players on it, and only afterwards realizing that I've scheduled their highly risky thing for 31 October.
Guess this thing just got even weirder.
MWUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA.
-
I would like this log please. I'm asking beforehand. Just saying.

If this (below) isn't the result of it, you and I are going to have words!

Getting to be pleasantly surprised by the conduct of someone you'd assumed the worst of.
Sometimes it's nice to be wrong about someone.

You're taunting the woman who put the murderclown shardhaven in Arx?
-
Edited to add: I was a part of one of @Darinelle's Halloween scenes a couple of years ago. My character ended up with a creepy, look-alike doll and a broken arm that didn't heal for like 6 IC months. So, HAVE FUN.
-
I meant to say this last night, but I'll say it today:
having a player say that your game is their favorite because of how welcoming everyone is is just the biggest, fuzziest compliment ever because, I mean, it just is and it means you're fostering the exact kind of environment you want.

Well, yeah, how else am I going to get to see it?
-
The murderclown shardhaven is //awesome//.

Reconnecting with old friends and partners.
I am so, so fortunate that THREE whole people have come back into my little online world in just this past week or so. I have a hard time making and keeping friends when there is no drama involved. Add in drama and it's usually a done deal.
I cherish my friends dearly because of this so to have them come back, happy, refreshed and wanting to actually play with me? ME? I'm a happy fishy.

When I was driving home today, I remembered this plot arc that I ran on Harper's Tale a few years ago. There were a few things I enjoyed:
-
It was a murder mystery and I played the guy who got killed, I played him regularly for like three months.
-
I encouraged the PC of @silverfox to open a door in the middle of a crowded party so that the body could fall out.
-
I dumped a bunch of clues and made A sECrET TuNneL
-
I had a nice solid chase scene through a warehouse with @krmbm and then we killed our characters off in a fiery blaze.
-
I got to burn stuff down.
Anyway, it was fun.
-
-
@thesuntsar HT made me a dragon based on Nathan Fillion characters with Johnny Cash voice so I always 100%.
-
It's an epic knife-fight with shadows and flames in the background, but yet somehow clearly visible to all the people that are still down below.
BUT YET SOMEHOW!
-
@krmbm lol is that an actual line from the log?
-
@thesuntsar Yes. I went to reread it after your post like "awwww, back when I STILL HAD A BIGGER BODY-COUNT."
rabble -
@krmbm lol
I better kill off some more PCs to make sure I stay in the lead forever.
-
That was the best. Time. Ever.
-
Whenever anyone mentions Harpers Tale, I'm reminded that I've likely been playing with some of you FOREVER, but that game is so far back in the reaches of my mind I remember nothing other than a) I was there and b) I was kinda twinky in that new-to-mushing way.
-
@Lisse24 Same. Same.
-
Having a scene with people with whom your IC relationship is very tetchy and your OOC relationship might be but you're too much of a coward to ask, and the scene is really nice and everybody seems to genuinely enjoy themselves.
