Critters!

So not only did she hurt her head but she took a tumble on the hill last night and is limping badly, refusing to put her paw down. Seeing the vet today (£120!!), the cut is infected, and she might have broken a bone in that paw.
But she got her traditional pigs ear and therefore likes NuVet.

@JinShei poor puppers!
-
@SuperiorHuron She is still determined to protect the home, and just limped over to tell the postie where she can go...

The embedded image is not working (for me at least?) but the link is, also that is a very pretty kitty!

Also, this weekend the lockdown in the UK started to ease up (too soon but meh). As a result my mum got to spend the weekend visiting and she brought along her nine month cockapoo puppy, Tinkerbell.
Tinkerbell is the most ludicrously adorable thing ever and apparently decided that I (like everyone she meets) was her best friend within a few hours of becoming acquainted:
-
@Packrat Wow, this is just an adorable picture.
-
Here is the cuter of my two cats, looking cute. She has spent the last three months during lockdown mostly following me around or sleeping next to me but is apparently terrified of all other humans.
I mean, "screw people except this one that I like" is generally a sentiment I can get behind.

I love you guys so much, but I have to make the obligatory "please don't put pics up here that could be used to identify you" post, okay?
Doggy is super cute, I get it, but please? Pretty please?

My dog expresses my feelings on this morning.

That pouty lip!
-
One of the ferals. He's about 15 feet away here and at this point has stopped caring as long as we're not walking towards him. Waiting for his treats.

I thought it would be this amazing idea to buy a sprinkler specifically geared toward my dogs. More the puppy, since he tries to climb in the tub while I shower, eat the water...you know, the normal puppy thing. Obviously, I failed. I want my money back!
-
@moth That's his tongue peeking out!

Identifying pics? All I see is a goofy, excited, overly shaggy animal.
And a cute dog.

Taken in my mum's garden today. I asked her about getting a streaming cam for her animal world but she is not sure
-
Didn't have the camera on me of course, but I just had one of these 'Yep, I live out in the country'-moments.
Went out for a cigarette. Four ravens are circling above my house. On my steps is the neighbor's cat, sprawled out. On a couple of steps higher is my grumpy long-haired cat sitting curled up growling at the neighbor cat.
It was a surreal and amazing coincident and for a moment I felt like a disney princess, just a really bad one with a cig in my mouth and telling the cats not to be idiots and to watch the damn ravens instead of growling at each other.

Black kitty is allergic to something and we can't figure out what. A few months ago she was sneezing badly (7-8 rapid fire sneezes in a row) and scratched up a the skin above her left eye till it was bleeding. It cleared up in a couple days though so we thought nothing of it.
Two days ago she started sneezing again and now has a large patch of scratched skin above her right eye.
Neither of us can think of what she could be allergic to. We haven't changed food or litter. We haven't bought anything new. We haven't even gone anywhere but to the grocery store and to get take-out.
She is acting otherwise totally normal. Playful and sleepy at her normal time of day.
It just bothers me to hear her sneeze and scratch herself and not be able to help.

@silverfox Something outside maybe? There's a lot of weird pollens and such. My dog is allergic to every insect bite known to man and I always have to have benedryl on hand. Maybe call your vet? I'm sorry Hope she feels better soon!
-
@silverfox My boy cat just has general allergies. He's pretty much ALWAYS sniffly/sneezy because getting allergy pills (Chlorphenamine is safe for animals) into him is next to impossible lately (I was able to for a little while and then he caught on that his 'treats' were pill pockets and now nope).
