@Auspice Level 27 here, I just want to hit 30 so I can spend my dusts (after 30 the Pokemon you capture/evolve/hatch don't scale up in CP any more). But yes, this new generation is an excuse for Niantic to sell incubators, I don't mind too much though.

What I do mind is they've increased the spawn rate but left the pokeball drop rate the same, which means I'm constantly out of balls (there's a joke to be made here). In the summer I used to destroy dozens of them just to make room and now I've often spent ultras to capture a rattata just because I was out of everything else... which sucks.

I used to have way, way too many balls. Now I have... none, ever. I don't go out enough to hit Pokestops and the adjustment to the PGo Plus in that if you're moving over a certain speed, it won't trigger stops...

... which yes, is super lame, I see emails / complaints on it all the time, but TPCi can't do anything about PGo stuff. That's aaaaaall Niantic.

Saying the quiet parts out loud since 1996.

Until Niantic lets you hit up Pokestops on the go again, I have very little interest in it. I live in the suburbs, there's one Pokestop near me. Everything else would require I either go on an extended hike, or take the bus downtown. Given that I live in Florida and its fucking 82 degrees in December... an extended hike through the hottest part of the day is not going to happen. Which means no Pokestops, which means no Pokeballs.

Unfortunately, there were enough potential lawsuits due to people playing while driving that they had to disable it even with the GoPlus. 😕

Because, no, it's not enough that it's already freakin' illegal to use your phone while driving in most states, no. They had to put it on the company's shoulders.

So people who take the bus everywhere (like me) get screwed over, too.

SIGH Yet again, assholes that can't put their phones down ruin it for everyone. THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS!

People want to sue because it's where the money is, and there's no point suing the moron - there's no profit in it. They need to sue someone bigger than that, but who? The phone maker is a hard target, as is the service provider... the app that's been making headlines and would be worried about bad press though? Nice juicy target.

This reminds me of the woman who received a Darwin Award (or maybe just honorable mention) for driving into a tree because she was busy feeding her Tamagotchi while driving.
