RE: Where's your RP at?
@Arkandel Thank you. Yeah I don't want to know about drama. Just where good RP can be found.
Decades in this hobby have given me a tool for ignoring drama when the RP is good

RE: Podcasts
OMG my podcast list is so long. The ones that are currently keeping me company at work though are:
Risk! - which is an awesome story telling podcast
Sawbones - which is about where historically medicine has gone wrong (it's funny)
Court Appointed - which is about where historically the legal system has gone wrong (also funny)
WTF with Marc Maron for good interviews
How Did this Get Made? For dissecting bad movies (though I find the older eps funnier than the newer ones)My daughter (where she here) would pipe up and suggest The Adventure Zone for a fun McElroys do D&D romp since that's her favorite too.

RE: Where's your RP at?
@Monogram For sure! Like with Walking Dead and Z Nation, Last Man on Earth, Colony and so many other 'civilization has collapsed thanks to (insert cause here)' shows being so popular there is definitely an audience for it.

RE: How is there not a Gloomhaven thread here?
It is pricey, agreed BUT I actually am really loving it and the intro box (which I would highly recommend anyone start with) Jaws of the Lion is a LOT More affordable (I payed $60ish for it Canadian on Amazon?)
We've actually got 3 adults in my house and Gloomhaven's been a bit pass time through Covid. While Jaws of the Lion + the main box is about $200.00 I'd say we've gotten about 100 hours of entertainment out of it so far and we're still only about half way through the main gain.

RE: Dare I ask...
@il-volpe I've got a Vampire (that sphere is really active) and a mortal/kinfolk (Shifter's less populated but I cross sphere a lot with that char.) Enjoying both.

Dare I ask...
I miss WOD (mostly vampire, new or old). Any mushes out there that aren't spreading themselves terribly thin by trying to do everything for everyone?

RE: Hobby Glossary
using Charactername-p to refer to the player behind the character confused me at first.

RE: Where's your RP at?
@lordbelh I wonder if there's a compromise. More threat of character misery/loss of comfort for the ongoing population.
And then if the 'tribe' wants to push for gains then people can willingly sign up for those efforts knowing that there is risk of char death that they're opting into for the possibility of glory/gain?
