SWF LF Non-WoD MU

I browsed the advertisements and came up with a few things I'd like to check out, but I know not everything gets advertised here, or at least not advertised recently, and some games just don't show up on searches on the sites I've used in the past (I'm still using MudConnector, is there anything better!?).
So I figured I'd give a shout out and ask if anyone has leads on or plays any Non-WoD games they'd recommend. Theme doesn't particularly matter, I'm okay with superheroes, anime, Star Wars, Magical Girl Apocalypse, Westerns (would looooove a western), WTFever.
If you have something, please don't be shy! I'm sure more than me would love to know what hidden gems might be out there.

@blondebot HorrorMU is starting up a western storyline tomorrow.

Each storyline is short-term -- usually about two months -- so it's not a Western theme forever, but the game is consistently great and the folks there are kick-ass. Simple, easy to learn system, good array of roles open at the moment.

Standing on a ley line and praying to the great sky-god for guidance

...but isn't that the one that tells us all to 'get out' or drink way, way more? I think the great sky-god works for the liquor industry.

This list is pretty decent. http://musoapbox.net/topic/2342/a-mildly-complete-list-of-current-games?page=1

Currently I play on a Comic based game that's kind of small, but has a friendly and welcoming playerbase and staffers, and has at least a few active people on during most hours, day or night.
Comic Adventures: galaxy.silvren.com 4220
Feel free to drop in and take a look about. If you wanna chat me up some about it, I'm usually on there as Gambit, but you can also find me as Hercules and Miles Morales.

@apos How dare that list tease me with an Exalted game that doesn't exist anymore!

Normal humans. Normal town.
The intention is to include an inordinate amount of drama with Calaveras as the central point of activity. This is meant to be similar to most adult television dramas. What we may see as an abnormal amount of activity involving police, rescue, fire, criminal activity, drug activity and the like is simply everyday life for citizens of Calaveras. It seems a surmountable endeavor, but they juggle these events along with their personal drama.

I second Calaveras.

Third.

Fourth!

@krmbm I guess I have no choice after all the recommendations. I will check that Calaveras out!

Clears throat
There's totes an Exalted game that DOES exist, but is kinda dead. It will probably get another shot in the arm when the new Dragonblooded books come out... and again when the Lunar Kickstarter happens... and and and...
