Geeky Collections
-
Starting this thread to give people a place to talk about their collections and share pictures and all that.
This is part of what I have collected so far.
I have mostly Pops but I also have some odds and ends from when I was subscribed to Loot Crate.
-
These shelves contain the majority of my stuff. My bookshelves have a couple odds and ends, but this does have the entirety of my playing card collection (minus what's in this or that backpack or purse).
-
I love those shelves. And your collection!

While those shelves are not why I chose the apartment I did (price was absolutely why), they were very much a major perk.

This is just my office and what is immediately around me.
The drawers below are all filled with D&D Miniatures.
The grey figures are all ones I 3d printed.
This is just one bookshelf, mostly of RPG stuff. All my WOD Books are on the shelves at the bottom

Here is the kitchen with the Disney collection

@Alamias
Your collection is what I hope mine will be like someday. -
Here are the various other things of geekery around the house. Boardgames, etc.
-
Okkay. I am envious, now!
-
@TiredEwok It's not all mine, some of it belongs to my wife, but we are a very geeky household.
Our front door doormat reads "Home for wayward geeks."
I didn't even bother taking a pic of our two gaming tables....

The only geeky collection I own is this one.

That moment you realize all of your geeky collections are either of the 'art supply pile' type or currently packed away and/or scattered everywhere, I am totally having it.
<tiny voice> I have a lot of seashells... </tiny voice>

I do not own the space to put them up so I don't have a picture, but one of the collections I have is comprised of ~290 movie posters from between 1979 to 2012; and one large "poster" I saved from Blockbuster that is in 8 parts because it was a large window display poster.

OK. That's a p awesome collection.
-
@Jaded I used to have one of the original Batman (Keaton) movie display stands, but that was back when I was in high school and had no idea about 'collections' like that. Sadly it is long gone.

I'm in a similar boat.
My father gave me an original theater use poster for Empire Strikes Back when I was about 15 but I didn't know well enough how to care for it and it got damaged when I moved out.Sad for both the poster and it being the only time my father ever picked out a suitable gift for me. (My mother only became okay at it once I was an adult.)

We once had a Timecop Van Damme figure standup thing of the master of the splits himself, but alas, since it was in a 'holding a gun' pose, the husband eventually murdered it after being terrified by 'oh shit oh shit there's a man with a gun in the hall!' when half-asleep too many times.

@Alamias Fuck you and your perfect house(I kid, but I'm still really jealous)
When my place is clean I'll post something. I will say....as a sneakerhead in regards of collections, I have a lot a pairs of Nikes. Usually Air Force 1s or Air Maxes. Couple pairs of Addias and Vans.

@Testament Yeah, fuck me! No offense taken
