Holidays - What meant the most?

Lovely people! I had a super heartwarming story from today and I wanted to hear yours also! It doesn't have to be a thing you got, but maybe a conversation/experience.
My grandfather died before I was born. (Car accident and then hospital negligence.) Dad doesn't talk a lot about Grandpa, but it's always been obvious that he loved his father a lot. When he died there was some problems between the siblings over the estate and I never knew dad had anything of his father beyond the skills he'd taught him.
Much to my surprise when I open my gift from my dad it's a pair of earrings with a little note. (My father has never been fond, for some reason, that all of us girls got pierced ears, so earrings are a weird gift from him!) The note describes that the earrings are made of the coins my grandfather collected all the years. My father wanted each of us girls (and grand girls) to have a piece of his father.
So so many tears. It is honestly up there among the most touching things. Dad didn't have much of his father and what he did have, he gave to us kids.

Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue has taken away my ability to draw and paint, a hobby which I was pretty big on.
This year, my family got together to buy me a Cintiq. I don't know if this will make me able to art again, but I really, really, really appreciate their attempt to restore something to me that I lost, and really miss.

The big boys (18, and 17 year old twins) got up early with the youngest to build youngest (6) new Legos sets with him, and then one of the bigs spent a couple of hours teaching youngest how to play the pokemon card game and then playing several games with him.
We had a very scaled back Christmas but it was nice and all the bigs hung out for quite awhile.

I love buying gifts for others and this year I NAILED IT. I managed to get my girlfriendwife a lovely chunk on amethyst on a necklace. I fretted about it and wondered if she would like it... and she loved it. She's been very happy with it and that makes me happy.
I bought Super Smash Bros Ultimate and have been playing it.
I'm not super close to my family because they're dickheads, so I've been instead enjoying a lazy day hanging out with my online friends, which does somehow seem more special this year because I love them so much. Happy Holidays you guys!
