Angel's Legacy: Seeking Help!
-
I'm at work so not there but if folks are interested in helping with the creation of the game they can log into:
I'll be on in a handful of hours tonight and will probably start poking at making a chargen. Since my one from Wildcard is lost:(

Never. I'm kinda a hoarder when it comes to data.

Chargen is in. I need to update some of it for more Angely things than the Anitaverse stuff since I took it from Wildcard. I also need to install the FAE roller. And get the +sheet command moved over. Since +sheet is currently still @Thenomain 's code. XD Whoops.
But if anyone wants to walk through it and make sure none of the rooms are dead ends, and that things make sense that'd be cool!

Good luck!

Just a small update:
I'm in deadweek / finals week for Spring Term. So I'm not working very much on this right now. In a couple of weeks once I'm free from oh god I'm going to fail everything, I'll be working more.
Anyone want to play Cobalt-minder at that point? That is someone to point me at what needs to be done to get the ball rolling.

So me and Muse have hashed out some thoughts on the grid. We're going to go with Washington (sorry @ixokai, but at least it isn't Port Angeles!). We're going with a fictional metropolis set between Mt. Saint Helens and Lewis River in Washington. The eruption in 1980 will have killed the previous angel that was in charge of Washington for Raphael, hence why a weaker angel (her daughter) now holds it (with the help of PCs!).
So far we've split the grid into four areas with a total of about 15 "grid squares". Here's my thoughts:
Mountains - St Helens 1) Forest 2) Mountainy Forest 3) Mounta itself River - Lewis River 1) Upper River 2) Lower River City - TBD 1) Inner City (Angel Homestead, Guild HQ) 2) Downtown/Commercial District (Shopping, Restaurants, Tourist Traps, Police HQ) 3) Red Light District (vampire hangout, adult stores, etc??) 4) Suburbs (residential areas, schools, less "upscale" businesses, etc) 5) Old City (poorer neighborhoods, sketchy businesses) 6) Recreational area (parks and stuff, maybe an amusement park) 7) Educational/Medical/Etc/Whatever (community college, hospital, etc) Outskirts - rural 1) Farmland 2) rural homes 3) pastures ??
If anyone has any suggestions or thoughts, let me know.

And I'm done with school for a few weeks. So I'm going to working on this! I'm online now poking at chargen, and tinkering with this.
-
I am working on putting the grid together. Paused briefly for RL things but I am back on track.

There's a great cave + canyon by Helens: http://www.mountsthelens.com/ape-caves.html , https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ape_Canyon . Also: Bigfoot.

Awesome!
Also re: "Special Vampires", I know @ixokai had an interest in them. I've decided to go ahead and allow them. 1) their special property'll be listed on the wiki, 2) people can't overlap unless it's a group app, or otherwise worked out that there are more than one of that kind, and 3) it'll cost 1 refresh at chargen to chargen as a special vampire.

Hey folks:
I need a few people to come poke at chargen. See if everything works the way it should, etc. I think I've got it working but I'm not 100% positive.

I can try tomorrow if you wanna pm me he address.

For anyone checking out Cobalt's CG I could also use someone to gander the descs and check for coherency and the likes. And suggested 'starting' businesses.

Hey folks--
I could really use some help. I have a bunch of stuff to do on the wiki, and kinda feeling overwhelmed with it. If anyone is willing to help I'd be very greatful. Right now a big thing I need done is pictures found for each of the grid squares (all of the descs are up on the wiki already, so you can go off of that), and posted on there. And then descs for the buildings that are already built and desc'd also put up.
Potentially some template-creation as well. Like logs, and the function to pull logs.
