So if I haven't played WoD in 15-20 years, and don't own any of the books, would it be worth me going on here as a mortal?

I am pretty WoD dumb, I basically only know 1 or 2 spheres. Seems legit for going in blind. You can be connected to my char if you want. MAyhaps it'll motivate me to play more.

You'd probably want to get a hold of the Core nWoD rulebook and the GMC rules update (free) -- but other than those, which aren't huge issues to get a hold of, you probably wouldn't need anything else for a mortal these days on any 2e game.

I play Antonio if someone wants to do something. Necromancer/Mobster/Cleaner of Murderscenes.

@icanbeyourmuse I'm always open for things hooking to other things. Don't have any preference on playing male/female good/neutral/evil.

@ThatOneDude Haha. I'm not against it! Miki is entirely mortal, though. I was pondering vampire but I'm, as usual, game for whatever.

You guys might not know this, but I consider myself a bit of a loner. I tend to think of myself as a one-man wolf pack. But when my sister brought Doug home, I knew he was one of my own. And my wolf pack... it grew by one. So there... there were two of us in the wolf pack... I was alone first in the pack, and then Doug joined in later. And six months ago, when Doug introduced me to you guys, I thought, "Wait a second, could it be?" And now I know for sure, I just added two more guys to my wolf pack. Four of us wolves, running around the desert together, in Las Vegas, looking for strippers and cocaine. So tonight, I make a toast!
Then when it's all over and the rest of you are ready for Dead Animal Pickup, I'm gonna go balls deep into Dahl. But only because she asked me to. Sweet-like. - Riddick (2013)

Just some updates: We are now 100% Werewolf: the Forsaken 2nd Edition Compliant. Also, starting next Wednesday, is DUDES OF LEGEND 2: LEGEND HARDER

I recently tried to make a character here. First, upon logging in, I didn't get so much as a hello from anybody. I figured ok, people are busy and don't have time to greet new people, and went into CG. I finished CG and the +job has sat completely untouched for 5 days (and counting). Not a 'we're working on this' or anything.
So... looks like I will not be playing here.

I am highly sorry that this occurred, and I will look into what made this happen. I understand I cannot undo what occurred but I can attempt to not make it happen again.
