Big Trouble in Little China
-
I am going to put together a Dresden Files game set in San Francisco, using Big Trouble in Little China for a huge source of inspiration. It'll be set after the fall of the Red Court, but I need more than just myself to put this thing together. I can handle the code (Fate is stupid easy to code for), but I cannot build and run this thing all on my lonesome.
To that end, I know there are people who hate Fate, but I also know there are people who like it, and I need at least a few other intrepid souls to help me make this thing whole and functioning. Story tellers, staff, etc.

I do not know crap about Dresden or FATE, but with that inspiration, I would be tempted to try it. Am up to my eyeballs in too many projects to help much with things right now, but if basic wiki stuff is needed, and can wait after the holiday, I'm willing to help out there however I can.

@surreality Oh I just decided to do this project myself, I've got to rip out old code and put in new code, but I am recruiting early because there's already other stuff people can do. News files, etc.

I don't really have time to help right now, myself.
But I love Dresden and Big Trouble in Little China. I've not really truly tried FATE, but yeah. Am all about giving it a shot.

Holy crap. I'm excited for this. These are literally two of my favorite things. I'd be super, SUPER up for playing the game, for sure. I'm not sure how much I could help? I have zero experience with coding (and pretty much no interest in learning, tbh). But I can probably write some room descs, or do something like Storytelling if there's a need for that (urban fantasy is my jam).

This is a campaign I ran on Roll 20 for a while, so I've got the core theme and setting down pretty good. There's going to be a ton of data entry but what I'll need help with the most is actually /running/ the game and stories for the players once I finish the code and get things done.
Building help would be awesome as well of course. I Essentially have to dig and desc 3 grids.
I'm stoked about the support, helps a lot.

Yeh, I could help with that stuff. I'll need to get up to scratch on the Fate system again, it's been a minute. But I could give it a whirl.

When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" ... "Yessir, the check is in the mail.
