All I can think about is a dumb player, like myself, putting beats into all the wrong things because they are learning. They reach the ceiling with an incoherent sheet and have no way out.
I'm not talking twinking, though that would be a concern. I'm talking about general bad choices and a lack of planning. Which, once again, is one of my problems.

Things are picking up speed again! The last few bits of coding are being a pain in the ASS, but we are making progress.

On other news, coding is going super swimmingly now, and we are in a 2 week timetable to open. It could take slightly more, because that is how RL tends to roll, and it will hardly take LESS, but you never know. Anyways, SOON!
I would like to take advantage of the number of people around to ask if there are creative souls out there willing to be Staff STs! You don't need to come up with plots, although that is always good, and all I ask is that you are not insane and can run a scene per month to people outside your group! Ideally I would like one for each Order, but finding 5 storytellers could prove daunting.
Anyone interested in doing this, lemme know, please! The game already rewards players for taking the mantle of scene runners, but Storytellers would, ideally, take care of those people who don't have a group of friends to run stuff for them, and make Big Plot scenes that could change how the game works.

I need to put together a character idea. Have two mage concepts already, but they're for other games. Minded towards trying a Thrysus Silver Ladder who's trying to sort issues in the Shadow by supporting certain Spirit courts. What sort of Cabal idea did you have in mind?

Things have been busy enough that I haven't even really gotten around to coming up with a concept, much less think any further forward than that. I imagine I'll get around to it eventually, though.

As we discussed in private it's probably better to see who's interested first, sit down in a group (or have an e-mail thread or something) and see what kind of cabal it'd be.
I know I plan to play someone recently Awakened, most likely an Arrow, but I other than that I haven't even picked a Path yet. Maybe a medical professional for starters, I haven't done a concept like that in a while.
So far there're three people chatting about either a cabal or 'just' character ties, so that looks promising.

In very brief terms, as I understand it, the mages of Fallen World MUX will find themselves in a really dangerous, messed up Manhattan, where there's been a lot of fighting, and where no one's power is secure. It's definitely not an idyllic town on the New England coast, but instead somewhere dark and dangerous.
(And apologies to @SunnyJ if I got that wrong!

Already have my stuff. Mastigos Twins (bringing another player over)... one will focus on mind, the other space. Mind will likely be... whichever of the Psychiaologist can write prescriptions. Not sure what the space twin will be.
