Scissors' Playlist (cuz me too)

Updated 2021-01-20
Whoever came up with the playlist idea, kudos. This gives me a reason to compile a list, which is only to get less complete as time goes on. My mushing days started back in 1995/96? and lasted until mid-2013, with acouple of long breaks in there. The list below is roughly chronological (at least, the WoD part), as much as a I recall...
Cajun Nights: Chantal (mortal), Saralee (mortal), Hadrian (Ventrue)
Metro: Janice (Ravnos), Hadrian (after he left Cajun Nights)
Tempest: AJ (BSD, I think?)
Santo Domini: Isabelle (Tremere), Sachavelli (Giovanni don), Quickstrike (BSD)
Due Rewards: Arkady (Brujah), Liane (M+ CSI), some others I can't remember
Denver Dark Destiny: Isabelle (ported from Santo Domini), Marianne Beaufort (the ridiculously verbose Ventrue), Victor (Gangrel)
Generation X (That 80's Seattle one): Scissors (Bonegnawer Ahroun)
Shadowed Isles: Seanna (Fianna), Rain (Hakken), Aunt Ana (Troll)
Metro v2: Lillian Hayes (Technocracy intern)
Masquerade: Sasha (Corax)
Arctic Rage: Victor (Get of Fenris)
Darkwater: Sydney Rae (mortal, federal agent), Mr. Quiet (Ogre)
City of Hope: Sjovold (Get of Fenris)
Oathcircle: Elisha/Nibbles (Pooka), Mad Jack (Redcap), Megan (Children of Gaia)
The Reach: Marie (Wolfblooded Cop), Poison/Aunt Sigi (Crone/Kross), Oscar/Electro/Sparky (Free Council Obrimos), a couple of others I never got around to play much.
From the Ashes : Ivy (Redcap)
Bump in the Night: Anthony, Olivia.
Fate's Harvest: SvetlanaNon-WoD:
Birds of War: Mlle. Solace, The Contessa, Jurgen Schlag
Steel and Stone: Alise, Rutger Nayland (the first one, anyway)
Sweetwater Crossing: Lucy Vancamp, Andrew Cash, Elena Avery
Cold Space: Illyanna Shevchenko
The Triangle: Lena Valk
Lantern Hill: Troy, Sophie, Eve
Kushiel's Debut: (briefly) Regine, Vallis, Marilene
Coral Springs: Koa, Bam-Bam
8th Sea: Beppe, Mako
Arx: Veronica Keaton, Vercyn Halfshav
Calaveras: Nina, Eve, Franklin
Savage Skies: Ling, Jericho
Welcome to the Euphoria: Tannen, JessicaCurrent:
Uh....
A bunch of others I was on briefly, but just can't remember enough details to list (Memoirs of Betrayal, Fallen Leaves, Hint of Malice, Mountain Cauldron, some others). I had a string of different Black Fury characters but I can't recall any of the games they were on. There was also a handful of comic book MUs that I was on for about 6 months (it was a phase), but I can't recall their names.
Did some sporadic staffing over the years, on Due Rewards (can't remember the staff name) and Tempest (sorry Gany, I was Ms. Orange, unless you took up the mantle later on). Never wanted to staff ever since.
-
POISON! I've been wondering where you might have gotten to. I still regret we didn't get things going with our planned Kross/Roth alliance back when I was playing Shyla.
-
I remember liking Poison, but I don't remember why or if I knew her as Marty or someone else.
-
@tragedyjones Poison was around during your Marty days -- I'm pretty sure she froze before Marty killed NPC-Dorian.
-
Oh hi Shyla! Yeah it was a real shame that never got to where we wanted it to be. It would've been grand.
And Marty! Poison had a teflon suit on when Marty threw insults at her. But she took Ainsley out for a few girls' nights out when Ainsley first joined the vampire set, and showed her how to party!
-
I remember you vaguely from Masquerade. I staffed there as Serendipity, I think I may have NPCed another Corax with you at one point. Sasha was from NYC, right? Thiefly type, red feather?
-
Sydney is still one of my favorite PCs from Darkwater. Ever.
-
@Cobaltasaurus
You did not like Sidney, though? I thought everyone loved the Feesh.
-
@Ganymede I suspect Cobalt meant Sidney (Gany's changeling), not Sydney, my mortal federal agent. Sydney was kinda peripheral to the changeling RP there so I'd be surprised if she's anyone's favorite!
@Beez My memories of my time on Masq are a bit hazy too, but I think you're right. Sasha was definitely a smartass-thiefly type, with a dash of red feathers, and from back east (probably from NYC). Likewise, I do recall your NPC Corax, trading info and gossip! So... good to hear from you again!
-
I liked both Sydney and Sidney. But Sydney, the mortal is one of my favorites. The game is long dead I am allowed to have favorites now!
-
Thanks for that, Cobalt. I had no idea!
-
JURGEN! You're alive! I played the robotics lady slash doctor on Birds of War. And Sophia on Sweetwater! How ya doin'?
-
That was you? Wow! I still remember that scene where all of us colorful Nazi villains were having a meeting. I've been on a break from Mushing for over 18 months now, but otherwise pretty good! Where are you playing these days?
Seriously, this is crazy and funny. I was half-expecting to be recognized by old alts like Arkady, Isabelle, or Seanna/Rain, but so far I am getting tagged with all the odd ones. XD
-
It was. They were a great team. And nowadays, just a hero game. Kind of eyeing branching out. Where are you these days? And hey, to be fair, it's often the alts we do differently... I know I went by Rain a few places.
-
Adding my new, recently-approved PCs on Fallcoast, Sara and Ray.
I have to admit, coming back to WoD Mushing after two years is not easy; I am having some difficulty getting back into the swing of things, especially finding RP and engaging in channel chitchat. Clearly, mushing is NOT like riding a bike.

Come play on Eldritch.
-
@tragedyjones Doesn't Eldritch have a limited number of slots in each sphere? Technically I would need to wait for a slot to open up before I can make something, no?
-
I think it is only on major templates not minor ones. far as I know there's no cap on.. uh.. wolfblooded and the like.

Werewolf is still open, for the nonce, though I can't say for how much longer. If you wanna werewolf, though, you can get to makin' one.

What @Derp said.
Deviant and the core staffers recently posted a projected withdrawal from active plot running, which I think have soured some of the playerbase. Add to this the edict that apps will not re-open for Demon and Vampire.
That said, there are a number of folks there running plots, trying to keep the game active. If you're interested in playing a fang-bearer, you might want to try Reno. But I can say that people on both games seem fairly active.
