Play the motherfucking game, I figure, and fuck that impatient-ass bullshit.
It's not always about impatience though. For folks who just don't have a lot of free time to play, stuff like that can turn a game from a hopeless slog into something modestly enjoyable. If it's a MMO type game with levels, it can also enable you to continue to play with your more-active friends instead of getting left solo-ing in the dust.

All the men I’ve met are old or scum.
Yes, but what about the video game?

I meant, in the game.
Scum.

And now I hate AC Odyssey and think it's the dumbest piece of shit ever.
So glad I invested all my stuff so far into assassin + hunter perks and eq, to get to the "conquest" battle, which is literally nothing but a "spam basic attack fest" where anything other than the basic attack buttons is useless.
Oh, and the game's advice "go level up and get stronger :D". WOW. Maybe if the enemies would STOP LEVELLING WITH ME.
-
Anyone who has been eyeing some of the Tell Tale Games and considering buying them, the company is delisting games for purchase in Steam but remain available if you have purchased them.
So if you want anything you better grab it.

I only have the Shield-Breaker attack, and everything is just peachy in those battles. You can re-arrange your perks, though, for some drachmae.
Stun is a good ability to maneuver behind folks and gut them. Paralyze Arrows are also nifty.

As I said, it appears that the enemies stop leveling commensurately at around Level 14. Captains and other "bosses" may rise with you, but the grunts seem stuck at around 13 for me. Also, mercenaries remain as they are.

There is so much good shit out there from Telltale. Of course mostly "The Walking Dead" and "The Wolf Among Us". No doubt someone will buy up this catalog for stupid cheap, but in the meantime, here you go.

The new Crusader Kings 2 expansion continues to be mad. Here is my previous ruler over a decade prior to her death, an elderly dragon queen of a tribal society in sub Saharan Africa who, by the time she finally passed away, personally killed over a hundred people in duels or battle.
She also founded a legendary bloodline by going on an expedition to Russia then fighting a series of bad asses to the death because she had run out of worthy foes closer to home, now all of her female line descendants get special bonuses. Unfortunately both of her badass daughters died before she did and her granddaughters were significantly less impressive. Also she became celibate in her 30s having only had three kids. (This did not remove her Lustful trait?).
She was sufficiently murdertastic that her retinue could attack armies outnumbering it then literally kill everyone whilst suffering minimal losses, she also helped out a lot by personally slaughtering enemy commanders in a good proportion of battles.

Forever reposting. Telltale is amazing.

Guess who has two thumbs and managed to land a Spiderman PS4 $200 deal and Last Of Us for $5 and Horizon Zero Dawn for $15?
No, don't guess. It's me.

I'll see you next year.

I did this last Sunday. Except Last of Us was $10 for me.
I haven't even opened Last of Us yet. >.>I will warn:
Stan lee has a cameo in Spiderman (I did not know this okay maybe everyone else already did I did not ) and it made me kind of really sad because it was super cute and I had to save and switch over to playing HZD instead. ;.; -
Stan Lee's life ended on a high note. I am content for his contributions and extremely happy that the community—fans and actors and more—gathered around him with the movie studios tried to screw him over, and made him the star that yeah, he probably deserves to be.
-
As I said somewhere else, Stan Lee was so well-respected that he got a cameo in a DC movie.

It did. I mean, there's a very short list of people in the entertainment business who I will miss very much: he's one of them.
I loved seeing, on Twitter (because that was the social media account that he took charge of), the joy he spoke of the actors that brought his creations to life. How they were all his friends (esp. Tom Holland, he loved that kid).I think that's why the cameo hit me in the feels.
-
@auspice In the movies anyway, as I understand it he has Cameos up to the next Avenger's movie already filmed for at least the Marvel specific movies, so Ms. Marvel and Avengers. It was unclear whether he's in the next Spiderman or not.
-
I'll be honest, and not video-gamey but still, if they find a way to give Stan Lee cameos of any tasteful sort (on billboards, name-dropping in places) for the rest of this era of Comic Book Media, I will be content.
Creators are important to society and should be recognized. edit: And paid.

@thenomain So my brain immediately starts going 'You know if he keeps being paid he's gonna need a bigger grave site.' Meanwhile images of professional crews carefully excavating dirt before laying bricks of cass around his coffin in an ever increasing structural mass of $$$
