@TMG Object manipulation, downtime gain and other things are all based off on energy. You just go to the Bazaar or the bar and get yourself some food, until it fills your reserve, more likely.
-
I am so indecisive if I wanna join this or not.
-
I am having fun with this so far. I play Yiutam, who is the VP of one of the main Megacorps on the game. I was bleh about taking the character at first, but knew they needed more corper players. As soon as I had him and had a chance to read his secrets I knew I was going to have a blast...and I have! I have PC kids, and everything. It's fun. Still trying to wrap my head around a lot of the code, but it is cool, and the people are OOCly helpful.
-
I'm playing Timothy, if you decide to join, who's basically paparazzi (and apparently works in a corporation partially owned by @toreadorfool!). Though, I decided to buy him a trenchcoat and fedora so he can properly narrate his own actions like a pulp investigative reporter. Once I get some more time I plan to make full use of the Media board and write gonzo-style gossip articles! The plight of the people in the Junkyards, as told through the eyes of a drug-hazed investigative journalist!
The code is pretty sweet, and there's a ton of new theme stuff being implemented all the time, it seems like. The relationship stuff on your sheet/the roster also helps you figure out people you'd automatically know. Lots of different ways to spend your time, and XP is done in a really cool way. I'd suggest it, @icanbeyourmuse.

I can not recommend this game enough. Between the satisfying code, excellent theme, extremely friendly and open playerbase and staff... It's just instantly addicting. Plus, since it's still got that new MU* smell, everyone is new and figuring things out, and you can watch as the code and game grows which is always a really fun thing. At least for me, anyway.
-
@toreadorfool Oh hi, I'm the lawyer that cleans up the messes. So you're the guy.
Relating to this game, it's fun. I logged in, picked up a PC and then spent about an hour with two friendly staffers facing my very first challenge: A door. It was a fearsome beast. We eventually overcame it.
Following that, I was contacting by others in SinoChem wanting to make relationships. so that was cool. I look forward to stretching the legs of this PC. Also, once you get on grid you get access to a secrets sheet, much like firan. If my secrets are any indication, all of the PCs should give plenty of play time and uniqueness.

I was gonna try here but nothing on the roster really appeals to me.
-
@icanbeyourmuse The game's roster is still under construction, it's going to take awhile until options diversify. I'd be patient until then. I'm sure there'll be new stuff coming that'll draw your eye.
-
@deadculture /i might forget my interest by then. I forget why I buy a game 5 minutes after I do.
-
As a note for folks...
I play Elizabeth. Even if I'm idle, feel free to page me if you want to RP. I sometimes just space out at Pub chan and chill.

That happens!

When it's not looking so lean I'll post up on here again, there's so few on the roster now its almost at the 'not open for app' stage. I'm sure it's just new mux crush stage. And a lot are going to idle out. The torrent is already becoming a trickle I notice.
Give it a week and there'll be a lot more choice I'm sure. I will post on here when that is the case.
-
Some characters got idle-rostered. Come take a look, maybe you'll find someone you like! We need active corporation people and we have a few concepts that may appeal.
-
I took a look but nothing on the roster jumped out at me. I only saw 2 Corp characters on the roster.
-
Same as @Ominous for me.
-
If EUBanana's who I think he is (SR: London?), then it's definitely a game I'm interested in, but yeah, having looked at it, going to wait for the roster to fill up a bit more.
-
I will just say... I am enjoying this game. More than I have enjoyed a game in some time.
From what I gather so far, almost every character has a rather compelling secret (just from peoples' comments along the lines of how interested/excited they are once they see their char's secrets). Staff is extremely welcoming and happy to help answer questions. Even if I'm asking for the hundredth time to be reminded of the +products/skill command.
There are bugs and some kinks in the code here and there, but Anarchy is quick to take care of them and is also swift to adjust imbalances in the system.
It can be daunting at first. Especially for certain roles. I play Elizabeth, who is a Matrix Marshal (polices the Internet/VR world). It's a pretty hefty amount of code I had to learn. Again, Staff has been helpful, as have my fellow players who also deal with Matrix stuff.
RP has been great. I took the chance of allowing the inklings of a relationship with someone I don't know. And when I made it clear that I don't intend to sign on as a "omg twue wuv" deal, they were totally cool with it. My character is snarky and bitchy (she once sent 'Who are you again?' in answer to a message he sent her) and they have rolled with it 100% IC.
There's been steady RP. Regular scenes (board meetings for us Corper types, brawls for the gangs, bike races for all, etc) have been going at a rate of, oh, approx 2-3 a week so far. There's almost always RP to be found if you want it, both daytime and evening. Sometimes, yes, you may have to concoct a reason to visit a place (some corpers aren't gonna be as likely to go into gang territories and vice versa)... but I'm sure that will lessen as the roster is fleshed out and more people join.

I'm interested in it, but I'll wait til the roster expands before I commit to anything.

Needs more CEO Dragons on the +roster for my tastes.
-
Might be an AI on it one day, it's a dragon free zone though, thank the gods.
Unless greasels count.
