So. I'm a streamer, and I stream. I'm also single. I used to watch a bunch of horror movies, but now I'm streaming horror games.
Right now (well, in about 5 mins when I finsh supper) I will be continuing Eternal Darkness for the Gamecube.
Don't worry, you won't miss much, I'm also a little drunk.
Anyway, I'm posting this here because there are a lot of people who like Lovecraft. And if you do you really have to see this game (either my drunken stream or go look it up on Youtube).

So what's the deal with streaming? Is it fun? Do you have to be charming? What if no one watches?

Honestly, for me it really helps with my shyness. No one believes me when I say I'm shy but I totally am! Also, I started streaming because I talk to myself when I play anyway, so I figured if people were watching me while I talked to myself it isn't so bad. I've never really had people not watch, but I still probably would stream. And then I put them up on Youtube for people to catch up. I'm entertaining, I guess?
I don't have eleventy billion people watching me at a time, I would freak out I think if I did. But talking with people in the chat, I don't have to look up things if I get stuck. I have fun doing it. And that's what I like about the people I watch. Though most of the comments I get are that people like watching because I pick games they would be interested in, but they could never have the patience, time, or whatever to do it themselves.
And people give me games. Just like randomly, here, have a $60 game because I like to hear you shriek and this game will do that. I don't think I'd ever be able to make a living off it, but some people do.
I kinda suck though so I honestly couldn't say why people watch me, specifically anyway. Other than the patience thing.

I can see that. My kid loves to watch that stuff. Her favorite person is ihascupquake. She's adorable and hot so I find her amusing too now and then.
I wish I could play on a regular basis. Maybe some day.

I can't promise anything, but I will try to be better next time. I kinda suck at games though. Especially ones I haven't played in over a decade. (I don't know if you saw it, but the Roman died).
Seriously though, whether it's me, or you look up someone actually good on Youtube, I really suggest anyone who loves Lovecraft to check it out. The graphics are a bit dated, but it was an awesome game.
