At some point during all the upgrades nodebb has been technologically advanced to the incredible point we can now rename accounts!
We'll need a half-decent reason if you want yours changed, especially for repeated changes, but we have the technology. Welcome to the future.
Does it change all the posts that reference your account with an " or do those links just die?
@mentions will most likely not work any more if they're using the old name.

@coin It's a weird name change but if that's what you want, man.

Forum upgraded to version 1.11.1 and during the downtime we also had some system-side upgrades including moving away from TLS-SNI-01 for our certificates.
If you notice any issues - or new features - please let me know.
-
Forum upgraded to version 1.12.0. Please let me know if anything doesn't work.

I'll be performing an upgrade to nodeBB version 1.13.0 on Friday Dec 06 2019 around 22:00 EST. A downtime of a few minutes is expected.
-
I jumped the gun a bit. Forum upgraded to version 1.13.0. I restarted the server for some system upgrades as well.
As usual please let me know if anything broke terribly.

Things are different now and I want them to not be different.

@Arkandel The profile pages look really awful on mobile. The two columns are so narrow that there are maybe two or three words per line, even on a very wide screen.

This is def an issue.
Also, I randomly get floods of 'you don't have permissions to perform this action' errors. This update is bad and nodebb should feel bad.
-
We had some downtime tonight since redis decided to freak out and took the nodebb service with it.
When I'm more awake I'll look into the root cause. Please let me know if anything more unexpected than usual has stopped working properly.
-
I upgraded MSB to nodeBB's latest version (v1.15.5).
Please let me know if anything is on fire.
-
@arkandel I just couldn't connect and was getting some kind of proxy error.
-
@tnp Yeah, we went out of memory shortly after the reboot. I'll keep an eye on it.
-
@Arkandel Where did the ignore/watch thread option go?
-
@tnp I'm seeing it on the top right

Hey, folks.
Anyone here fairly familiar with nodeBB? If so, please hit me up, would you?
Thanks.

@ganymede If this is in relation to some of the problems that have been popping up lately, I hope someone can help <3. I've not used NodeBB myself but if issues persist maybe it's time to try to migrate to another forum software?
