I always liked Kushiel's Debut's handling of TS preferences. They had RPRating, which was a stat shown in characters' +finger info. It worked just like US movie ratings: G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17, X. G meant they didn't want romanctic RP or wanted to keep it to just flirting and maybe a kiss. X was hardcore porn territory. It didn't elaborate who a person might be interested in making a sex tape with or what activities will be involved, but you generally knew who might be up for sexy times and just how graphic those sexy times might get. It's also important to note that many of those with X's weren't just looking for TS. Quite a few were movers and shakers in the political intrigue and TS was just an occasional story-driven occurrence.

I blame you and all the upvoters for encouraging this. And a one, two, three... Too hot for plot, make your connection drop Too hot for plot, make your connection drop
They use their writing skills to get whatever they don't got
Other characters drool like fools, even the ones not human
The TS is a hit because the immersion is all-consuming
 Fame, +jobs, bbposts, crazy xp
 They never desced anyone unassuming
They scene with group leaders, discriminating readers
Coders, staffers, everybody's doing it or done it,
Or at least used to do it, you know you know who's into it
And believe me, you, it's as good as true
When the chips fall down almost everyone likes to ---
But sometimes even when they have it all in the bag and should be glad
They will be mad and sad and feelin' bad
Thinkin' about the RP they never had
No long term plots, just TS, followed next with a page and a vote
That that last scene was so hottt, quote unquote
Let's talk about TS, baby, (sing it)
let's talk about pose and scene, (sing it, sing it)
let's talk about all the drama
and the mayhem that may be

And believe me, you, it's as good as true
There ain't a staffer alive that she couldn't get next to
She had all the staff favoritism should have been glad
But she was mad and sad and feelin' bad
Thinkin' about the plots that she never had
No character development, just TS, followed next without a +roll but a +note
 That last scene was dope
Let's talk about TS, baby (sing it)

I started to do the third verse but man, I just can't. That verse is just so dark, and such a cautionary warning about STDs ... how to turn into a silly limerick about TS?
-

@cobaltasaurus Just leave it as is and it'd probably fit.

Double-post because I can. One of my concerns about a 'these are my preferences' system is the potential for drama whingy bullshit if, say, I'm rated as 'non-TS' and then I find someone that everything just clicks with and we get it oooooooon, and then the pages of "what makes him so special" etc etc.

 @tinuviel you say...

@shincashay Well yeah, I'm just laying out potential issues is all. I don't actually give a fig, but others might.

@kanye-qwest It kind of looks like she's saying "fuck off".

@cobaltasaurus it's once upon a time. She's yelling at Mr Gold again. There's no cursing in Disney. "You don't get to decide what I do or how I live. I do." So... same thing basically.

comic places tend to have a super (oh ho) negative view of TS in an i guess aggregate kind of sense and, like, the reasons are i guess sort of understandable- it's maybe hard to be positive about e-bangs when you're in a room of like 6 people out of character grinding on each other and super badly pretending to be women to the degree it's basically lesbian-face but like in terms of That World stuff you're dealing with people who basically just as a rule have totally perfect bodies and wear painted on outfits and by and large have a ton of like ultra weird emotional issues that compel them to be ultra obsessive about their bodies so idk i never really got why anybody would figure super-people wouldn't fuck like athletes in an olympic village i dunno that's the closest i can come to constructive contribution right after work

@prototart The comparison between superheroes and Olympic athletes is actually really fascinating to me, especially in this context (and the context of how much sex happens at an Olympic village). For some, their body type is (unnaturally) natural -- they don't have to work at it, but for someone like Daredevil or Batman? I could see them appreciating a nicely-cut body very much, since it's their ideal for themselves as well. Interesting (to me, at least).

Of course sex is inherent to the superhero setting, much like any other setting: you have amazingly fit people working together under harrowing circumstances while dressed in skin tight leather and rubber and nylon etc. Insert Wonder Woman bondage pic here. However, that's also why (I think) superhero games put in rules to limit sexual things. Because if you don't, you don't have a superhero game anymore, you have Shang with capes. There's nothing wrong with that, but it's a wholly different genre and flavor. I remember on the first Crucible City game we had to implement rules for that very reason, because we had people app in TS concepts, not superheroes.
