Miami, Blood in the Water

In search of someone interested in running the mage Sphere.
Whoever does, make sure they take a ton of notes and post them places, so if they drop off the map, their replacement knows the plan.
In fact, do this with everything.

This goes against the storied tradition of not leaving shit but half explained NPCs and an unfinished mystery disease story that makes the connected Mortal+ splat feel briefly important.
-
@jennkryst As someone who has been handed a sphere with next to 0 notes, that is the intention, for all spheres.
-
@royal That's why you burn it down, and start it over. Even if they have notes.
-
@saulot @jennkryst Lets not forget people getting angry that NPC personalities change and how they feel about PC Characters change when a new staffer take over, when previous staffer made no notes and was using the NPC to ts people on the side.
yes, we aim to avoid some of that nonsense. Not to say it might not happen, by my goal is to make sure it doesn't.

@Wretched - is Darc/Gabriel, the head staffer on SF, involved in making Miami?
-
@kay No.
-
Follow up question to make sure the language is complete: Is he or will he be involved in running Miami?
I’m asking for a friend.
-
@thenomain I don't think you are asking for a friend. I think you want to know for yourself.

@thenomain At one point Darc was kind enough to offer us the chargen from SF, we decided to go another direction, outside of that Darc has had nothing to do with the games development. It was a generous offer and we appreciated it.
-
@wretched That doesn't answer the question.
-
@tinuviel Shuuuuuush, i replied while i was still waking up.
Darc is not in any way part of the staff team nor is he involved in running it, nor do I predict he will in the future.
This is a very weird and specific line of questioning.
-
@wretched it's for a friend.

Are we friends now?
... Should I be concerned?
-
@Wretched I wanted to double check because when I had checked out the Miami discord awhile back, Darc was tagged as a staffer. I'm glad to hear that he's not! Thank you for confirming that.

Darc began coding for us before he made his own game. One day, Darc was gone and suddenly had San Francisco up which had references about The Reach’s news files. When I asked him how he got all of this stuff, he said that he was building a CG for Miami and was just testing it there. At that time I had not seen the other references to The Reach and have since been approached about Darc taking our flatfile with the shell access he had.
He won’t be on Miami staffing.
