Whoa. I didn't check their often anymore but it feels like the end of an era. They're still, for better or worse, one of the more complete listing services the community has.

The site is still up. It's just their forums that have shut down.
Which uh, makes me a mite bit concerned about what might come here.

Their forums were significantly more hostile than MSB's, imo. It pretty much was a half dozen game owners that loathed each other posting regularly.

If it was just "a half dozen game owners [...] posting regularly" then it was probably decided that it wasn't worth the work to maintain it.

For the best. We have a few MUD players around (or those that sometimes play MUDs), but we def. aren't a MUD community.
But yeah, if people think we're bad... the TMC forums were like a bare-knuckled back alley fight.

Let me just say that Tekmonkey/Nemesis, Rick Sanchez, Elsa and others are posters there and didn't particularly stand out.

Update #1: The TMC Discourse is now setup and we are sending out invites to Mud Administrators. If your email address is registered as the admin contact for a TMC-listed mud an invite should soon arrive in your mailbox.
Got no idea what's going on now.
