@Zaroot's tone reads to me as demanding, not a simple request for information.

I'm not trying to fight, just pointing out why it mattered to me enough to comment.

It reads like demanding if you want an argument or you want to feel attacked, I guess.

To me it reads like someone making a request just in a throwaway style. I mean, do we really nitpick over every little thing people say to that extent now? I know I have trouble reading tone and inflection sometimes, but I didn't know we'd gotten to that point.

Often when I read insult or anger in things people 'say,' I get told I'm reading too much into it and that it wasn't meant that way. That I put 'too much stock' into what was said. In this case, I am fairly certain that @Zaroot didn't sit there thinking 'I am going to demand they put Mage on their game just for me. I think it was instead a different way of saying 'Hey if you guys ever include...'

If responding to an ad thread with a request for additional information, and "a request for something more in a throwaway style" are now the same thing... and reading them as not is wanting an argument or playing victim... what can I say but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Last I heard, it's on the long term plan. I don't believe it's even coded in yet.
See below, I'm wrong as hell.

Personally, I love Mage in single sphere but I have nightmares from my nWoD Mage days that make me cringe and crinkle up inside at the idea of bringing Mage in. {Also, as the M/M+ staffer, I know I'll be mostly out of a job. Hell, I'd Awaken my own psychic.) That said, I have legit faith in our staff, both mechanics and creatives. If we decide to go that way, They are going to make it work and restore some faith in the damn sphere.

We're looking at it. As a distant possibility. It will depend on whether we have the staff/storyteller support for such an endeavor, and a number of other factors.

Basically boils down to: "We're not ruling Mage out, but it ain't happening for a good while, if at all."

I have been playing here a bit and having a good time, but one of my friends ended up having a really unpleasant interaction with one of the staffers here recently and quitting as a result, which has sort of soured me on the experience a bit.

The staff has been pretty pleasant to me as and when I have interacted with them, so it might just have been a weird interpersonal issue, but from seeing the log I was definitely not in love with the tone the staffer took and I will be wary when dealing with that individual in the future.

Okay, everybody.

At exactly 8pm CST on March 1st, we will be leaving soft RP and going live.

This means a few things:

* XP spends will be open, but for a time all spends must go through Staff via a +request.
* XP may be gained through means other than your weekly allowance. Which means you may gain beats through aspirations, PrPs, breaking points, 
and all those funky fun things.
* Game plots will kick off in short order, so you'll be wanting to watch +events for happyfuntimes.
* ICA will really and for true mean ICC.
* You will have until 3/14/19 to make any minor respec changes to your sheet that reflects stuff that didn't work for you during soft open.

Please be patient as we here on staff side wrangle with what will likely be a huge influx of jobs. It may take more time than normal to see a response.

The wiki will still be a work-in-progress, but most major information should be there and we're hoping to have character pages ready for you. 
In addition, some more specialized things coming down the pike may not be fully in place yet.

Character pages are still in the works, but coming sooooooon. Basics should be in over the weekend, and I'll let folks know when it's safe to poke them.

They won't have all the planned bells and whistles to start, but the planned bells and whistles are pretty involved, and there are oodles of them. (Some of it's pretty neat, or at least I think so.) We'll see how many of 'em we can make happen, and I'll keep folks updated on the new stuff going in when it's ready over time.

Starting off it'll have Werewolf and Vampire for sure, as well as some Mortal+ templates and your regular Mortals.

The supported Supernatural Templates are Lost Boys, Atariya, and Psychic Vampires. They are not able to pick up Supernatural Merits, except Supernatural Resistance, which is also open to Ghouls and Wolfblooded.
