I mean, I do now live in Austin where they are obsessed with Topo Chico.
Which is worse than LaCroix. It doesn't even pretend to have flavor. It's just like 'yo, cheap carbonated water here.' -

When it comes to water. We usually call the carbonated water mineral water and the non carbonated water 'water'.

It's "soda water" around here.
Mineral water around here is either "super-expensive tap water" or "water that tastes like rocks".
