At least it's good news. A little sad though, it'll lose some budget...Some budget and a possible cast change. I read a couple days ago that Flockhart didn't want to go to Canada for filming and I believe most of the CW shows are filmed in Vancouver? So what Supergirl looks like going into Season 2 is up in the air.
-
@Jaded
It won't be the same without Flockhart as Cat Grant, that's for sure. -
I love Outlander, anyone else or am I by myself again? I'm ready to be alll alllonnne though @Coin said he -might- try it so there's hope.
-
@Gingerlily I LOVE OUTLANDER.
-
YAY! I've read the first two books but stopped after that, they are just so -long- and after a while so -long- not even in page length but it just feels like it is taking -so long- to finish that I decided to take a break from the series and that was many years ago. The SHOW however is not too long, it is just long enough, and the actors are great, and the setting is gorgeous and the COSTUMES and it is just pure magic. I relax as soon as I hear the opening song, it is my end of school year happy place.
-
@Gingerlily I read -- man, it's hard to remember now. At least four or five of them. There's so many now, and yeah, they're so long. I think it's the last one or two that I haven't read. The show's a delight, though.
In way sadder news, Agent Carter got cancelled and I am heartbroken FOREVER.

I don't know what either Agent Carter or Galavant are but if one of your shows got cancelled @Coin it seems like you should try a new one! Maybe...Outlander!

Galavant was a medival comedy musical that you would probably love if you weren't obstinate and tried things I suggest.

I don't think so but I might be wrong. There might actually be some breakdancing.

Person of Interest is back on for the final season, still a great show. People should watch it.
I'm a bit concerned though, the last season set up a really big expansive and awesome plot. Two episodes in and we're still to really deal with it much at all, and as this is the final season we're running out of time I feel.
Also they've chosen to release 2 episode per week, which almost makes me fear this is being rushed.
Still though, is a great show.

They're ramping up to something. I have faith.
If you've seen the latest episode you start to notice some serious connective tissue in the narrative they're telling.

Galavant was different and fun. It was a sincerely great show that no one watched because it was different. And holy crap can Timothy Omundson sing.

@Jaded I loved myself some Galavant, and I generally hate musicals.

Galavant was the spiritual successor to Monty Python's Holy Grail, et al.
It was irreverent, whacky, and heartfelt, and they had absolutely zero fucking compunction about making fun of their audience, their writers, their actors, their network, and themselves.

I really did enjoy the season 2 opening song. It was witty and ear wormy.
