Fallout 4

@Miss-Demeanor Level 50, have multiple citadels in multiple places and...who is Shaun again? I haven't even spoken to Valentine yet.
-
@HorrorHound Hell yeah! Fuck that dude, whoever he is! I got Deathclaws to kill and Raiders to slap down!
-
@Miss-Demeanor Go to LynnWoods, ring the siren. Go on. Do it.
-
@HorrorHound OMW with Uranium Fever blasting from my Pip Boy!
-
I cheated through that encounter. I kept luring the deathclaws back to rooms. Theyd run to the door, stand there, then run away. Giving me ample time to shoot them in the face.
I cheated through every Deathclaw encounter. I'm terrible.
-
I have full X-01 Power Armor and a modded Gatling Laser. I fear no Deathclaws!
-
@Miss-Demeanor Make sure you have it on Survival, like a good Fallout Player! <_<
-
Appropro of nothing, Fallout Shelter is fun.
I'm pretty sure that the genetic diversity of my Vault is questionable, though.
-
Fallout Shelter is fun.. until you have enough Dwellers that you get attacked by Deathclaws EVERY TEN FUCKING MINUTES. Seriously, you can't even recover from the first attack before the second one happens.
-
My Fallout Shelter game feels like a birthing dystopia, where people are selected not for their desire to be with one another but for their SPECIAL genetics.
Will Dwellers 1 and 37 please report to living chamber 3...
And its the best way to raise happiness.

I think my residents of my shelter are more inbred than the Hapsburgs.
-
@Insomnia You would think so. But the game will not let you inbreed. I tried it. You put any combination of family together alone to see if breeding occurs and you just get 'I love hanging out with family' style emits.
-
@Jaded Huh. Each Generation I only ever have 2-3 dads... tops. All different mothers. But it does add up. I guess I haven't reached that critical spot yet.
-
@Insomnia Well I didn't try later generations. But if you put mom/son, father/daughter or the children of a son/daughter in a room with the grandmother/grandfather. There's no breeding.
-
@Jaded Oh yeah, I knew that. Tried it accidentally and they just went on about how cool it was to hang with family for a bit.
-
I believe fallout shelter won't let you imbreed for 3 generations.

The only time I use power armor against Deathclaws are at game start, where you have to, and the Glowing Sea, because it was easier to traverse that way.
I survived being chased by a Deathclaw into two other mobs. Had one of them been Super Mutants maybe I would have been in trouble.
I wasn't in Survival Mode because I don't play these games for combat, and that's all it's for. Fallout 3's Survival Mode is far more interesting, because there aren't beds every five fucking feet, and radiation is something to be genuinely afraid of. Also, guns break, and even slightly not perfect weapons have worse stats and take longer to load and argh stress stress stress!
I miss that.

I love roaming around in my Power Armor... possibly because it wasn't something so readily available before, so now I'm enjoying the Hell out of it. Of course, I also don't use much in the way of tactics in FO4 simply because there's so little that should actually be feared. So the Power Armor helps in that respect as well.
-
Don't forget to take your power cores with you when you leave it somewhere, or your settlers will hop in it and take it for a joyride.
-
I found that out the hard way about 30 minutes into my first runthrough.
