So I notice a lot of robots keep signing up, like this guy:

      http://musoapbox.net/user/asianescorts

Who have links to websites like these:

      http://www.naughtyshemales.co.uk

I'm not saying I don't want to hangout with Asian shemale escorts - that hits the spot, actually - but it doesn't seem relevant, you know?

The people I'm employed with whose website I administrate and manage at my second job directed me to delete the accounts of all marketing robots, but we're probably working with a smaller server there; it is entirely possible that @Glitch has the resources to shrug off all these bots signing up here.

I'd be interested in seeing the success statistics of forum bots like that. They seem like more work than just email spam.

We get tonnes of them at my second job.

I have to fish through ten and twenty bots for every real user.

I actually go through our user list periodically and check for these, as they're a fairly recent occurrence. So far, I've deleted about 5 accounts like this, but yeah, basically I just remove them whenever I think about it, since they can't actually post unless they verify their account.

              Thanks for responding.
Fair enough. You don't have to do anything about them; I was just wondering if you were keeping an eye on them.

The website I work with is a business venture and not a pleasure community like this place, so it's not really important that you be as stringent with bots as we are, really.

Also, you're probably not being paid to do this. I'd donate if you set up a PayPal link or something along those lines.
