Cheap or Free Games!
-
@Arkandel Oh, I'm the same way. But I actually feel like I'll try to play this one! Possibly! Most likely? At least there's a fair chance that I'll play it.
@Thenomain Cool. I'm going to give it a try.
-
I've been playing Town of Salem, which is only $5 even when not on sale... I love it.
If you like Mafia/Werewolf, check it out.
-
You can actually play Town of Salem for free, but it's a good game to throw money at and support.

Yeah, I found that out later and... I do not regret the money I've spent on it. I've even bought one of their packages while it was on sale.
-
I'm Moiren in Town of Salem if anyone wants to do the friend thing and play with / against each other.

I'm Auspice because wtfever on names.

@Thenomain So I bought them, and I'm starting with Dragonfall since there seems to be a consensus that the first one isn't the best. So far I'm really enjoying it, playing a Decker with a Rifle for the meatworld damage.
-
I have played through and beaten all three games. For a first true-to-origins Shadowrun game that we haven't seen since the Genesis, I think Shadowrun Returns was very well done.
Dragonfall was my favorite. I found the campaign story to be more engaging. And Hong Kong is just as enjoyable but I didn't get as invested in the story as I did with Dragonfall.
All told, I think all three are worth playing through.

The XBox 2016 summer sale starts tomorrow.
-
HumbleBundle is having a DRM free sale.
Also if you have a PS4 and Playstation+ Saints Row Gat Out Of Hell is one of the free games this month.
-
Of all the things for sale there, I suggest you avoid Cosmonautica. It's a cool concept, but the game is essentially abandoned at this point in favor of their next game, the game feels unfinished and support is rather bad.
-
And Cosmonautica had so much potential...
-
@Jaded It did. I was so angry at the state in which it was left.
I certainly won't be buying any more games from that company, considering their work ethic. -
From now on it's all Sakura all the time.
(Horrible writing, but they have a stronger work ethic and they are putting out games with games in them now at least?)
-
Evolve is now free to play on PC.
And it seems to have helped the game so far pretty much as well as DC Universe Online going free to play did.
-
I can't tell you how cheap everything is, as I am ignoring all things sales related, but Amazon Prime is having a Games sale, and what I saw through my tears before I closed the browser seemed... decent.
-
Okay, this one involves Uplay, so some people might not be interested, but since it's Ubisoft's 30th birthday they are giving away a game a mont for 7 months, for free.
This month is Splinter Cell.
Just sign into uplay and go to the Ubi 30 tab.
Oh yeah, speaking of clients everyone hates, Nox is free on Origin right now too.
-
Also, Saints Row 4 is free on PS4 right now, if you have PSN. I'm sniklefras on there if you want to add me as your playstation friend and we can run around destroying stuff together!
-
You can get Sid Meyer's Civilization Beyond Earth free this weekend from the Humble Store Also there is a big EA sale over at GoG You know, if you never bought Origins for some reason and want to now.
-
IndieDB has daily free giveaways. I've also updated the first post to include them as well.
