When the people you RP with torture you on a daily basis because you enjoy it so damn much.
People need to stay out of my basement.

Feeling my RP energy and interest starting to slowly resurface.

Look I love IC, but sometimes OOC is the best too.
[Laurent] Reigna: So... drinking milk from a dishonored cow... Y/N?
[Laurent] Reigna: Oathlands equivalent to a kegstand?
[Laurent] Mabelle: its like a dirty rum
[Laurent] Tyren: i would say absolutely not, I mean then you're drinking dishonored milk
[Laurent] Tyren: I wonder if dishonored milk is flavored.
[Laurent] Jael: It's bitter
[Laurent] Norwood: yes it is
[Laurent] Norwood: with dishonor
[Laurent] Reigna: It tastes like tears of shame and regret.
[Laurent] Cristoph: lol conversations I did not expect to read today
[Laurent] Cristoph: 10/10 guys
[Laurent] Norwood: you are welcome
[Laurent] Jael: We live to serve
[Laurent] Reigna bows!
[Laurent] Reigna: I bet dishonored milk makes the BEST Lycene cheese. -
Talk about a dishonorable discharge.

I am so sad I can't upvote this more than once. I tried. It just made the number go down and up again. -

Just want to say thank you for the secret that Staff gave my character. It was definitey an unexpected way to start the morning and not at all what I was imagining might come out of requesting a secret. I officially now have a million questions, a great plot hook, probably some RP that's gonna make my char look crazier than a shithouse rat, and I'm just thrilled.

Having just enough energy to get the final stuff crafted for a project I've been working towards for a long time now. It's kind of silly in the grand scope of things, but it's led to a lot of character growth, interesting RP (albeit a long absence for the last two month), and I think I'll feel pretty proud when it's done, and I think there will be a few folks who really enjoy it. It's nice to do stuff even if I'm still limited greatly in my actual on grid playtime right now.
-
@mietze Even on the grand scheme of things, I don't believe it is silly at all. Accomplishments, whether personal or shared with others, have a significant positive impact on yourself and those you share it with. Even if society doesn't put a monetary value on said accomplishment, not everything that is good for you health-wise can be measured by a monetary gain or a gain that is traditionally judged as useful or not. Mental health and mental stamina is incredibly important to one's well being, especially now, and accomplishments like this certainly helps reinforce this for you and those that see it and feel good about it as well. So finding the free time to do this on top of the important stuff that is swirling around in everyone's lives is awesome! Especially with some of the crafted stuff I've seen in Arx since joining, the artwork on items is like whoa.
-
Putting up a post asking for people to run some one-shot stuff and having 4 events in the making without blinking.
Having players who dive into running things is AWESOME. Having players who are invested in getting new players into things is ALSO AWESOME. You guys are awesome players. AWESOME. And we are lucky to have you.

I’m just really happy that a couple of my RP friends that have been gone due to work and pandemic related insanity are coming back.

So this is borne of 8 hours (or is it 9 now? I dunno, I'm stopping for breakfast so.) on the road which leaves a lot of time for thought:
I appreciate @KDraygo and really everyone active in Blackram right now but he's the one that inspired this. He's collaborative and understands that fun in RP is borne of working with someone to a mutually agreeable outcome and not just running roughshod and assuming the other party will be okay with everything 'because friends!' I've had so many people over the years not give me the respect of at least asking (even tho I usually say yes!) that I get extra fuzzy happy feels at having people around who want to work together and collaborate and honestly? I am feeling more inspired and creative than I have on a game in a long time.
I'm gonna be GMing for the first time on Arx soon. I have another plot planned after that for Blackram. And just before I headed out on my trip, Cerys and Gaston inspired an idea for an event that I've been brainstorming further on my drive and I am super excited to flesh out more in the coming weeks.
So thank you for joining, @KDraygo and thank you to the other Blackram people if you happen to be floating around on here. You've made things pretty damn swell lately.

Norwood made an off hand comment about not wanting a kitten but then every other pose back was, "So you want a kitten huh?" It was fun.

This sounds accurate. When I got mine for my OC, this was basically my thought process:
EEEEEEEEEEEE! <= squeal of glee
(A little bit later)
"Ok... this makes no sense as to why it would be happening."
(Some time later, after an action.)
"I am so confused what just happened."It's fun to research!

Seeing/hearing about how much people liked the fainting goats at the livestock auction makes me so happy. I had fun writing each one of them y'all.

I'm dying to know who got the duck and mule.
