I am so far! The hot-and-cold charisma helps keep scenes punchy, I think, and I took the char because, as a detective, he has a reason to RP with just about anyone from all social classes -- a lot of mobility in the RP. I'll toss you an update or two if you're curious!

ToL wound up doing some writing for Mage at some point, though. So there's that.

@cobaltasaurus Oh! That must have been during one of my disappearances. Sorry for the misnomer, in any case. The only person I keep in touch with in the RL sense from Ye Olden Days is ToL, but that's because I got him into MUSHes in the first place.

@cobaltasaurus If memory serves, there were two WORAs. WORA 1.0, SWOFA, WORA 2.0. I've been at the fringes since 1.0 (like, 2000).

@saosmash Haha, Derovai and Aureth should meet sooner or later too, I think! He keeps a room at the Murder of Crows. But his outfit when I got the charbit was literally 'black, black, black.' His coat has gray checks in it, though!

We may have! Page me with whomever you are, if you would like (no worries if not!). And I teach university IRL, and right now we're on a January break, so my life consists of Starbucks and ignoring working avidly on dissertation chapters! Aka: all the time in the world, at least for another few weeks.

But yeah, I picked the char I did because it seemed like he could scene, and productively scene, with just about everybody, so anyone, please don't hesitate to look me up while I'm still @rsable (or even later!).

@cobaltasaurus Because I have an elephant's memory for stupid things I've done: back at least 10 years ago, when you were Cobalt on WORA or SWOFA (don't ask me which!), we had a fight over something -- I don't even know what. I called you mean names. I was an ass. Sorry.

(Also, I stole the handle from a song well before the burlesque club, but the burlesque club mostly made me stop using the handle. Good times.)

Yup. Which was the thing with Logan. He was written as a manipulator, but potentially Force Sensitive (mysterious "headaches" and the like). So I applied. Come to find out he was not Force Sensitive but an Imperial Agent, much to my surprise! I went with it, but it was a shock, and not really the character I had intended to play and had been hoping to play. If I'd been more used to rosters etc., I would have just tossed him back and found another character, but I had never been on Firan, so I didn't really realize you could do that.

@quinn Not a pilot. Logan was an Imperial agent who soured of the whole thing (years before TFA!), and then got... put in Rebel jail for defecting. And I kept on being told that, yes, there would be RP to get me out of the jail so I could keep the character active -- but I sat there for about two months real-time, and there never was. And then the game went up in flames. Assuming Sagas was the one with the roster, that is, but I seem to remember it was.

But hey, at least your scene sounds, uh, better (?) than that.

I've been around since time immemorial (OK, since when WORA had a meaning for the acronym), but I'm admittedly a flake on games (I run for about 6 months and then burn out.)

Here's where I'm at now, after a 2+ year break:

• Spencer (mage) and Jeremy (in cgen) at New Prospect: From the Ashes
• Gonzalo at Eighth Sea (maaaybe. Still trying to sink my teeth into the character, and I had to go to sleep midway through a TP last week and felt badly about it. Things that start at 9 EST are difficult!)
• Derovai at Arx
