@Auspice If you don't already have a fanbase then Patreon isn't going to magically develop one for you, unfortunately. That being said, there are a number of writers who make decent money (over $100 / month) writing for their patrons. At the very least Patreon will give you a platform to put the stuff that you're writing up instead of being filed away somewhere and gathering dust.

I tend to RP from my iPad about 85% of the time. I use MudRammer and I have a bluetooth keyboard / cover. I move around a lot so if I didn't use my iPad I'd probably end up being AFK several dozen times a session, or constantly logging off and in again when I changed locations.
